The fuse and relay should be in the box on the passenger side of the engine.

SOURCE: engine misses at 35 mph code po 304 coil pack plug wire replaced

Information courtesy of http://obd-codes.com

A code P0304 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

  • Faulty spark plug or wire
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor (s)
  • Faulty fuel injector
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter(s)
  • Running out of fuel
  • Poor compression
  • Defective computer
Possible Solutions If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.
If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

Hope this helps with your problem. Best of luck.

SOURCE: 1995 buick riviera horn button on airbag does not work

You can work on this safely after you remove the positive battey terminal and wait 5 minutes before working on the horn system. you remove the air bag first there are two security bolts that hold it on you will have to buy these at a parts store. Auto zone sells the Set of Lock out bolt wrenches for removing the bolt. you will also need a steering wheel puller to get to the ignition key cylinder holder that is where the contacts are located. But first I would remove the horn ground out the horn and apply power to the horn to see if it works. Normally it's the horn relay that goes bad.

SOURCE: 1998 Buick Riviera battery

Make sure that you have the ventilation tubing when replacing the battery. The car is designed to vent battery gases from beneath the car. Substituting a different type battery (without vent ports, a small hole that is located at each end of the battery ) or if you decide to use the battery without the ventilation tubing, you run the risk of an explosion. This is due to the proximity of the battery to the fuel pump, which is also located beneath the seat.Underhood batteries vent naturally into the air within the engine compartment. In your car there is a small hole in front of your battery that leads to the underside of your car.Your tubing is designed to carry the battery's vapors way and direct it out of your car through this hole.

SOURCE: How to replace headlight on 99 buick riviera

Hello. I happen to own a '99 and had to do the same. You can access the back of the bulb by removing your air filter and hose. This will free up room for you to reach the bulb.

Where is the horn relay for a 1992 buick riviera

Hi, the horn relay is under the hood. On the Passenger side firewall there is a black cover with that should have "Fuses" written on it. Remove it and the horn relay will be one of the black square modules. It should tell you which one on the inside of the cover you removed.

Horn button sticks on 95 Buick Riviera

Typical scenario of the horn pad needing to be replaced at the steering wheel, may have to search the wrecking yards for a replacement or take the pad off and try to discover what part of it is bad and try to repair what you have.
Some folks have added a button useing the same twop wires that control the horn pad, thus eliminating the need to find a replacement horn pad in the proper color etc. a hole drilled into the dash and the button installed makes it a lot easier and cheaper and yiou still have a horn.
Every once in a while the horn relay is the culprit but mostly it is the horn pad, be careful of the air bag deploying...disconnect the air bag fuse before doing any work on the electrical inside the car.
