It may be tough to troubleshoot if you can't duplicate the problem in the shop. Especially on a car that old. Someone will have to check for fuel pressure and spark when it fails to start and then go from there.
Could be a long list of things without knowing where to start looking.
My guess would be a relay or the ignition module get hot and then cool down. But that is only a guess.

have the computer checked.it sounds like it may be getting weak or going bad.
SOURCE: 95 buick century, where is the starter?
Hello , Is the car a V6 engine? If so it is located in the front lower portion of the engine under or very close to the front ex manifold. How do you know that it is the starter ? What are the problems that its having? Do you have lights ? If you have lights , do they completly go out or severly dim when you try to start the vehical while they are on? Also really check the battery connections very , make sure they are clean and tight. Thank you , Quinn Texada.
Testimonial: "now i know where it is. we think it may be the linkage"

My 94 regal would sometimes start and sometimes not. Sometimes would just die like you turned off the key... after replacing many parts I ended up replacing the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft positon sensor and it has worked great ever since...
