I have a 2001 Toyota Solara V6 3.0Where is the Thermostat located and the coolant temperature sensor located and How to change them out

the thermostat is on the drivers side, right above the starter, follow the lower radiator hose to where it connects to metal pipe, there is one bolt holding it to the engine, near the oil fill up, unbolt it and pull it from the thermostat housing, 3 bolts hold the housing to the engine, remove the top of airbox and hose and move out of the way, the sensor is one of the two electrical connectors you have to disconnect

Where is the solenoid located on a 1999 solara v6

Bill,
The solenoid is integrated with the starter.

You should also check the start relay in your power distribution panel.
