    i have a 98 chevy venture and my drivers side window is stuck down and its not off track! we have taken the door panel off and looked to see if we could try and get it up but no luck. we are not sure what to short of buying a new motor!

    My driver side power window will come up but it is crooked and does not go all the way up. I have to pull it sideways to align it so it will close. What is the problem here and how can it be adjusted?

If your window won't go up try checking the switch I mean the up and down controls themselves. I just had the driver side of my chevy venture fixed because it would not roll down and that was the problem.

well, the first thing is to check the fuses and or relay for power windows.should be listed in your owners manual. if ok, then remove switch from drivers side window and check for power. if power to the switch then use a jumper wire from power side to motor side of switch. if window works then its the switch causing the problem. Driver side window stopped working
most of the time driver side windows switch be the first switch to wear out.try removing window switch work switch while moving the wires see if window try to go up, if yes, window switch broken.if switch not broken check see if power going to window motor when you work the switch you need a test light or digital volt meter to check to see if power going to power window motor.if power going to power window motor, either window binding or power window motor faulty. make sure driver side window master switch not locked out.if no make sure all the other power windows work if not you have blowed fuse.

could be the driver side master window switch... if the driver side window switch assembly is broken then the windows will not work... try using a test light to see if you got power to the with and and ohm meter to check all four switches on the drivers side
