93 infinity j30 seems to be dead but stereo, horn alarm, interior lights and exterior lights work.....fuel pump is 3 months old, installed a new starter after it would not start and still .... NOTHING. I drove it to work and it drove fine. After work, i jumped in the car , turned the key and NOTHING....no clicks, no attempt to turn over...not a sound. Had someone give me a jump and still, nothing. Checked all fuses,( in car and under the hood) swaped and switched and still nothing. Now I do know the car comes with a built in alarm system and that light blinks no matter what i do with the key or the locks. None of the other dash lights turn on when i turn the key. I need help

sounds to me that you have an igniton problem not a starter problem and or if you have or had an alarm system could be cause if u do give me feedback and i will explain but seems that your starter is fine from what u say but if you think in terms of the elemts to start a vehicle batery gives pwoer to ignition which sends to starter which gives spark etc i would check you ignition system something is causeing a short and not alowing starter to function
SOURCE: car won't start!!!
mine is doing the same... all i did was reconnect the battery...and it worked fine...but know my hood wont open!!! so i cant fix the cable on the battery!!! i pull on the darn cable so hard and the hood still wont budge!!!

the battery is located under the rear seat, check battery connections. if connections are tight replace starter.
SOURCE: car won't start!!! & ABS Light on
Sounds like carbon build up on the contacts inside the electrical ignition switch which is not the key cylinder. Its located on the lower steering coluum if coluum shift or if you have a floor shift it will be inside the console
