If the fluid level is full and it will go in reverse but not forward then I would say that you most likely have an internal mechanical problem that would require removing and repairing the transmission. It's possible that a clutch pack, seal, planetary, or other mechanical item has failed. It would be a good idea to contact a local transmission repair facility and have them check it out to be sure but I strongly suspect that it needs to come out and be repaired. Good luck, hope this helps!
Does the fluid read overfull on the stick now? You might have stripped the splines in the converter for the pump shaft. This is common problem on this model. Also the Forward clutch piston are known for cracking.
Could be a low fluid in the transmission. Check the level of the transmission fluid when the engie and transmission are at operating temperature. The engine must be running when you check the fluid level in the transmission.
Is the fluid level high? Most of the time when you have a no pull condition it is a stripped pump shaft or the pump drive splines in the torque converter. Cold also be a stripped or broken axle ( will roll in park if this is the case) or a problem with the forward clutches or splines bad on lower planetary. So unless an axle is bad the transmission will need to come out to be repaired.
