The replacement pipe should be the same diameter and general shape as the old pipe.

Well, the main point is that it connects to the other two pipes without any leaks.
Also, if the replacement pipe is wider, it could touch other surfaces and damage them from the high heat.

SOURCE: My 1996 toyota camry flex

This flex pipe is just after the exhaust manifold and it it getting cold out. Now if you draw too much cold air into the exhaust it could bend a valve but it is very uncommon. In my opinion you can get away with it for awhile but you are rolling the dice and taking a chance. Have you tried to find one in an after market line from autozone or other. I think you should be able to find one for half that price or less. It is not a long labor time to change it either...Why so high priced...?

Where is 2003 avalon o2 sensor(bank1-sensor1),(front upstream) ? can I install it myself without a lift?

The bank one sensor one O2 is located in the exhaust pipe before the Catalytic Converter, bank one is the cylinder bank that also contains the number one engine cylinder, in your car that would be the cylinder bank at the rear closest to the firewall (see diagram below). You will need to raise the car and crawl under it to replace the sensor and you will need a special O2 sensor socket. Remember always use safety stands to support the car when under the car for any repairs.

Exhaust Flex Pipe; How to replace?

You can change the entire section of exhaust pipe that the flex pipe is in. It's usually bolted to the catalytic converter, on the back end, and to the exhaust manifold at the front end. It's just a matter of unbolting it and bolting on the new section of exhaust with new gaskets. You could also go to a muffler shop and have them cut out the old flex pipe and weld in a new piece of flex pipe in it's place. It's for you to decide which option is best for you, and for your wallet.

How much would it cost to fix a power door, window and exhaust on a 1991 Toyota Camry. The car has 191000 miles is it even worth it?

to replace the window is about 150.00 depends on where you live in the country and the complete exhaust could be as high as 1200 dollars depends on what needs to be replaced. is it worth it depends on how much you like the car and if its reliable or not.

Exhaust leak near drivers side door

This is a flex pipe and VERY expensive to purchase from the dealership("Y" pipe). Just go to midas or the local mechanic and have them use a universal joint. Won last as long and may crack later leaving you with exhaust noise, but nothing more depending on the size of the crack.
Mine is hanging in there since March 08...
