i went to auto zone and bought coil springs for my 93 town car went home jacked it up disconnected the air bags pulled them out put springs in let it down and was driving in less than 45 minutes. at a cost less than $200.

SOURCE: where fuse located to box controling air

The battery junction box is located in the engine compartment. In that box is where you will find your fuse. The under side of the cover should be well labeled to identify the fuse.

Where is the suspension control module in a 1999 lincolin towncar
Turn air suspension switch off, disconnect neg, side battery, remove panel under glovebox control module located fwd up in frnt of air tube. If replaced the computer will have to re learn driving conditions this could take a few miles of driving.

I have a 1995 Town Car Signature Series. The rear
Sadly, there is no way to turn the light off. I had the air suspension on my Lincoln replaced with the spring kit, and the light is still on. I had a friend take the instrument panel apart and place a small piece of electrical tape over the "check suspension" light. Also, be certain to turn the air suspension pump switch off. It is located in the trunk on the right side.

Check air suspension light
the compressor is located under the air cleaner box. but if you dont want that hassle simply remove the fuse in the fuse panel under the hood. its next to the battery, under the cover there will be specific fuse locations on the lid, its a 30 amp fuse. once removed the noise will stop, but the light may come back on. In the conversion kit there are instructions on which wire to clip,also note that the module for the suspension also has circuits related to the steering as well, be careful.
