SOURCE: 2003 Buick Regal Service Engine Soon light.

The error that I'm showing for error code P1133 is
P1133 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) insufficient switching bank 1 sensor 1(Rear Bank).  I would suggest having both of your Oxygen Sensors replaced if you haven't already had that done.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating and for using FixYa.

SOURCE: service engine soon light came on. AutoZone read

Sometimes you have to wait a week for the light to go off, the computer has to go through several start/run/stop cycles.

SOURCE: engine light on code reads po401

I believe this code is insufficient EGR flow. On this engine, the passages to the EGR valve often become carboned up and cause this code. Remove the EGR valve and inspect the passages to see if they need to be cleaned.

2005 ranger rough idle, flashing engine light & strong exhaust

first of all a flashing check engine light indicates STOP as soon as possible SAFELY.. as for if you continue to drive damage to catalytic converter may occur. Have you had codes pulled yet ? start there the codes wont tell you wrong exactly but will give you problem area to start checking out. check for data link connection. make sure it can communicate with scan tool. commonly on fords is the ecm fuse is in same power supply line as cigarette lighter.( you figure Huh.) if fuse is blown it affects ecm power supply and causes drivability issues. and fuse is labled cigarette lighter fuse and Not ECM power supply. hope this helps if not pull codes and repost more info i get the more i can help . good luck

Engine light is on, advanced auto hooked up the device to trouble shoot. they say its a bad fuse but no one can find a bad fuse

Fuses aside, you have a malfunction code ,that set a light on your dash

That shouldn't in this day & age, after 30 years of that technology
be a big deal

What was the code & have you not used your search engine to
research it ?

If you never work on your own vehicles, say so, & your off
to the repair shop

A code is never an indication you even have a problem,
& never tells you to install parts.

Lots of info on OBD2 Systems you can study on internet

My check engine light stays on all the time and my interior lights and lighter don't work

It sounds like you have several different things going on.

For the interrior lights, are you sure that you don't have the interrior light switch on the map lamp assembly turned to the OFF position?

For the cigarette lighter I would unplug whatever it is that has been plugged into the cigarette lighter recently and check the 20 Amp fuse in the Central Junction Box located under the left side of the dash. It is marked "CIGAR"

For the check engine light, you will just have to scan your Powertrain Control Module for fault codes to find out the nature of the problem. Then you must diagnose the system that is failing before any repairs can be made.

Service Engine Soon Light wont Cut Off

You might have blown the 15 amp fuse that powers the cigarette lighter socket. This fuse also powers pin #16 in the test connector and if there isn't any power at pin #16 then the scan tool can't read engine data. Hope this helps out!

2003 Saturn LW300 3.0V6 engine light came on, tried to read with a code reader and the reader could not link up, I checked all connections and they were good, it read the codes fine on my friends Pontiac,...

Does the code reader power up? If not, check the fuses. OBD II ports supply power to the code reader. Typically GM uses the cigarette lighter fuse to power the OBD II port on their vehicles (could share a fuse with somthing else, but I doubt it). Good luck!
