Been slow to start for about 2 weeks....when i cranked it this morning turned over once and sounded like it was going to start now wont do anything at all. I can hear the fuel pump engaging when I turn the key all lights and radio works but does nothing at all.
SOURCE: lights, horn work but car wont start
Troubleshoot the starter. If your battery is good, then you WILL have power...the lights will work, horn, etc, but....if the starter is toast...you need a starter.
SOURCE: Car wont start-security light on-passkey issue?
if the security light is on it could be the ign lock cylinder, it has two small wires attached to it and one may be broken and are the keys the ones that came with the vehicle

Do you have a Chip in the Key? if so that Could be the Problem,Ya see the chip is a resistor and if it looses its ELECTRONIC VALUE in its Case Resistance it wont start to test this Turn the Key in the ON posission then do the Screwdriver thing If it Starts Key is Good and Most Likely the Ignition (SWITCH) is Bad <<ELECTRICAL Side NOY LOCKEST SIDE For More Info Recontact Me

The security system (VATS/PassKey) is faulty. You can find a great write-up here: http://newrockies.ca , it was the only thing that saved my Park Avenue.
