SOURCE: lights, horn work but car wont start

Troubleshoot the starter. If your battery is good, then you WILL have power...the lights will work, horn, etc, but....if the starter is toast...you need a starter.

if the security light is on it could be the ign lock cylinder, it has two small wires attached to it and one may be broken and are the keys the ones that came with the vehicle

SOURCE: 99 buick lesabre, battery ok, turn key to start, nothing

The security system (VATS/PassKey) is faulty. You can find a great write-up here: http://newrockies.ca , it was the only thing that saved my Park Avenue.

Where is the fuel pump fuse on a 93 buick century

If you can hear the pump working it's fuse is ok. Recommend changing the fuel filter next.

1990 Buick Century Limited 6cly wont start turn over or crank

Usually if the battery is dead, you will hear clicking. If the battery is good then I would check any Starter fuses/relays. If they are good then I would check for power to the starter solenoid. You can find many youtube videos on how to check this.

1998 Buick Century wont start. It's been sitting for a year. Battery was dead.I replaced battery, drained fuel, replaced with new fuel and Sea Foam fuel treatment. Will start for a second with Starter...

You have a fuel starvation problem, fuel pump, pressure regulator, injectors, any or all of them could be the reason why you are not getting fuel. Someone is going to have to lay hands and eyes on the thing and check it out.

Can't find fuel schrader valve on a 94 Buick Century

You could check pressure and flow at the fuel filter. If the exhaust is VERY quiet it could be a plugged catalytic converter.

Engine wont start

well if it wont turn over that usually means the batt. is dead or not connected! if it does turn over then it could be the timing belt as well as the coil wire check those and good luck!
