yeah, and if that ever doesn't work, it's probably a grounding issue. it's pretty common

SOURCE: door panel

Check the wires inside the rubber according between the drivers door and the pillar. you will find at least one wire broken. Grand Cherokees are notorious for this problem. At least it's easy to fix though.

SOURCE: my power windows wont work on my 2004 jeep

I had this problem also.If you open the drivers door you will see the rubber boot that covers the wiring that goes into the door. You will have one or more wires inside of it broken.I had to pull the door panel and drivers side kick panel off in order to get enough slack to fix the wires.

I have a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and the interior lights are not working along with the radio (factory install) and the power mirrors aswell...what could be the issue?

Most likely sense it was installed by factory, and all these issues came up at once, they probably did the fast easy way, meaning they most likely have them all on same circuit. Some wire short, most likely my guess is the power mirrors, is where I would start with looking for issue. However, what should take car of this first is look in fuse panel, you SHOULD have separate fuse for power mirrors and radio, as well as dome lights, but it is possible, they put them all on same fuse. Thanks Mike from Fixya

My radio, dome lights and door locks are not working in mt 94 jeep cherokee. i checked all the fuses what else might it be?

Check the driverside door area where the wires run thru the door. There will be a rubber boot covering them. Here, you may find the wire is frayed, broken or has pulled away from the connection.

Dash and shifter lights in 1996 jeep cherokee wont light

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.
