Turn signal flasher module is behind dash left of steering column near chime module. I have a 94 Seville and I had that same problem you need a Turn Signal Flasher Moduel, I forgot the proper term for it but I had to get mine replaced too. When I hit the signals to turn the side light would come on but the signal light wouldn't. Its a little box you get from Cadillac it only cost like $20 - $25 and you get it installed and trust. It'll work again. I just got mine done this week and my car now has turn signals again.

Turn signals wont work but flasher an lights come on

If the hazard flasher is working but the turn signals aren't, the problem is most likely either fuse A11 or the #2 relay in the trunk fuse block. However, if these check out, the problem could be either the turn/hazard switch assembly or the turn flasher module.

If both the turn signals and hazard flasher are not working, the most likely problem is the turn/hazard switch assembly.

My turn signal lights come on and just stay on they dont flash...i was told this was the flasher module where is it located?

The 1994-1999 deville share the same body configuration except for cosmetic and enginge changes and this procedure works on the 1999 Deville. On my 1996 DeVille, the flasher is a 3 prong, square unit that is located just above the emergency break pedal on the inside face of the lower dash panel. To replace this flasher you should start by removing the 2, 9/32" bolt head retaining screws holding the black access panel just above the break pedal. Lay down on your back and look up inside the dash. You may find the round hazard flasher high just above your head, this is not it. Stick you hand up along the panel in front of the emergency break pedal just behind the trunk release button. Locate with your hand a 2 inch long square relay box and move it to unhook it from it's clip. (If the flasher is the factory flasher it will have a metal clip retaining it under the dash. Your new part will not have this clip.) Route the old flasher and wire down so that it hangs from under the dash. Now you can see it and disconnect it. There are multiple connectors, but only three of them line-up and actually have metal receptors inside the socket. Take note of the removal of the flasher so you are not confused during reinstallation. I think the other connectors are for additional features not needed in the US. Take the part to the parts store or just replace with new one. Relocate the flasher safely up in the dash in relatively the same place and make sure it won't move around. return the black panel to its position above the break pedal and replace the 2, 9/32" retaining screws. Turn signals stopped working and i can't locate the flasher

For 1996 Cadillac Deville 4.6L SFI DOHC 8cyl... the Flasher is located:

Where is the turn signal flasher located for a 97 cadillac deville.

to the left of the steering collum connected to the under collum kick panel as you take the panel down it'll be connected to the cover, It's not a genaric flasher, it's square and looks like a relay585157684.jpgCost about 6 bucks at the parts store. If the turn signals aren't flashing and they do come on, and may be they flash on one side and not the other then it's not the flashers fault. All the light bulbs have to work or it won't flash and thats how you know that thiers a bulb out. Turn on the four ways flashers (Hazard lights ) and walk arounf the car and see if thier all working and flashing brightly. They'll flash anyway on four way the switches are known to hang in hazard and not work right on turn signal so try switching ti a few times and maybe it'll straighten out. If it flashes at all the flasher is good and if they don't even light not on hazard or turn the flasher and or the fuse is bad.

Just bought a "94" Sedan Deville and turn signals not working. Where is the flasher unit located?

it's attached to the steering column you have to take off the kick plate and metal shield under the steering wheel the flasher is going to be a black electronic box clipped to the steering column or nearby if it's been serviced before.

if all else fails go buy the flasher so you know what it looks like.
