recheck your wire routing to each cylinder. now it wont start because you been cranking it for two days

1983 cadillac's can not set these code's . pre OBD2 vehicles do not set P0741 codes .

all gm cars and most others have two flahers one turn signal and one hazard check behind the fuse box for the other flasher

Check the front and rear turn signals on the left. If both are just as bright as the right turn signals, then the dim bulb is isolated just to the dash. Possibly someone replaced the bulb at one time with the wrong rated bulb. A steady dim bulb doesn't sound like a loose ground. It would probably be going in and out or flickering, and just that one side would not have a separate ground. High resistance in a wire (like broken strands)or a connection could cut the current and cause a dim bulb. If the whole left side is dim, both the dash and the signaling bulbs, start looking for high resistance in that side of the circuit. To thoroughly check it out, probably need a volt meter

could be a sticking valve put a compresion test on it take out spark plugs and screw tester in plug holes

It's under hood in the relay box

Could be in tires and you may want to have frontend checked out ,have tie rods ,,,,ball joints and all bushings checked. This would be my suggestion and good luck and feel free to contact me if more help is needed.....good luck

I think the fuse box is under the dash on the drivers side behind a kick panel. Hope the info helps.
