Be more specific with details- with load, with no load, does not matter what load, etc, does it die? does it stumble? does it slowly lose power?

Without that information it could range of just about everything from a restricted/plugged exhaust to inadequate fuel pressure, and then some.

You could try backflushing the Mass Aie Flow sensor with contact cleaner as well as the TPS. And start it up at night in the dark and look for arcing of ignition components.

If no codes have tripped yet, this might address the issues prior to an error code being logged.

Scan code says Shift solenoid B Circuit short. If I replace the solenoid, will that fix my problem, which is: the transmission is stuck in fourth gear, won't go into overdrive.

Generally that is the correct process. However you should use a meter to verify that the actual short is in the coil on the solenoid and nowhere else.

2005 Nissan Titan falls on its nose when you give it gas to pass or go up hills

Could be a clogged fuel filter, they can have the pressure, but not the volume of fuel needed when there is a load on the engine.. Air filters can do this, but they have to be really dirty.

Overdrive switch

Overdrive should always be used unless you are climbing or descending a steep hill. You turn the overdrive off only when you don't need it.

Sounds like you're not getting a downshift and/or the Torque converter isn't disengaging from lock-up position.
IF it's a valve body problem, adding 2 cans of SEA-FOAM transmission treatment and following directions might free it up so it downshifts. It's worth a try.
Now a `little-known' problem with rear DRUM brakes can occur going uphill especially if a wheel bearing gets enough up-down play to let the brake shoes drag.It really CAN happen! don-ohio

Nissan Primera 1.8 V reg. EML on perm and flashes especially on start up, wont exceed 4k revs, is very jumpy in 1/2/3 rd gear, hills very slow.. 40-50 at best, sparks replaced and coil pack changed......

The codes need to be read. This will point you in the right direction. But just guessing , it sounds like a throttle position sensor. But there are other sensors that could do this. Again have the codes read. Most parts stores do this for free.

I have a 1995 Maxima. For in town driving is the overdrive to be on or off?

this is really not a problem, overdrive will only be used if car speed is up to speed for it to engage and that is how its designed. If you pull a trailer or if you are in a hilly area and your car keeps shifting in and out of overdrive you should turn off untill more flater terrain, otherwise it doesn't hurt your vehicle.

My nissan terrano 11 is overheating when towing my caravan, i have taken out the thermostat and it still overheats only on long hills, there don't seem to be any water in the oil and the fan seems to be...

you might want to have a radiator shop run a flow test on the radiator to make sure it isn't partially plugged up. it is almost impossible to guestimate if it is plugged up partially without a flow meter. and on most computer controled engines the sensors depend on the thermostat to keep the temperature within the operating range of the sensors.
