Power steering pump noise is likely the cause.

SOURCE: Humming noise in front end of truck

I'm having the same problem with my 2006 Chevy 2500 duramax...The humming starts at 25mph and then gets less prominent and then at 50mph it gets more prominent and louder, then at 60mph you can hardly hear it.....I did notice a little bit of leakage where the front axel meets the from diff on the drivers side.
Any suggestions?

SOURCE: 1998 Ford Mondeo GLX, loud humming sound, front driver side.

Most likely it's a wheel bearing going out.., If you turn to the right, or the left when driving the noise will change pitch. Been there done that.....

Keep an eye on your temperature gauge until we figure this out, just in case & see if it climbs much/any at highway speeds.

SOURCE: Front end noise/clunk 2004 Toyota Camry LE

Could be the lower control are bushing, it apparently is an issue with that model year.  Big bucks (850 CDN$) to fix as the 'whole' front end needs to be partially dropped and both should be done at the same time.  A mechanic should be able to see if that is a problem while the car is on the hoist.  The mechanic should be able to point to the area or point where the contact is being made. Mine lasted till 100,000 km, I heard it on the second hand test drive ( at 90,00 km) and asked a buddy ( a Toyota Master Mechanic) about it and he made me aware of it; i bought the car anyways.

SOURCE: My front end makes a loud humming noise.

Alignment will not create a sound by it's self. The most common cause of humming (especially if you have an agressive tread design)is a wear pattern in the tires...check for that or rotate the tires around & see if the noise changes. If it does then you know it's in the tires. & Not always, but most of the time a bearing noise will increase or decrease in intensity if you load up one side at a time by doing 35-50 mph & turning slightly to each side.

Humming sound when cold and at higher speeds

I would suspect a loose baffle in the exhaust system. Once I put an overhead rack on my F250 and when going down the road at a certain speed the air rushing between the overhead bar and the truck cab caused low hum.
When the noise starts ,and it is safe, put the transmission in N and see if it goes away. I have also shut my engine off while driving to see if a noise goes away. Usually it is a vibration problem.

2005 stratus squeaks in front end over bumps and car shakes when slowing from speeds of 35mph and over

The noise would usually be the strut or the control arm bushings. The vibration could also be the component making the noise, or warped brake rotors.

My front end makes a loud humming noise. At low speeds, I hear a humming noise and at high-speeds I can hear a noise in my tires. Not sure if it is an the wheel bearings, bad tires, or alignement.

There is a humming sound coming from the front end of my 1999 oldmobile alero. Only happens when the car is moving. I dont hear itat idle or even when pushing the gas at idle. could it be my transmission...

Hello! If the humming noise is speed related(gets louder as vehicle speed increases)check front wheel bearings. If the noise goes away when turning one way or the other then it will most likely be in the front wheel bearing. If you turn the wheel(while moving)to the right and the noise goes away it is on the right side. If you turn the wheel to the left and the noise goes away its on the left side. Hope this information helps!

03 Trailblazer Front End Noise/Vibration

I had similar problem with my 03 trailblazer. It had a low dull hum in the front end with a little vibration being felt in gas pedal. Noise increased over a couple weeks and was louder turning to the left and quiter turning to right. A GM mechanic friend of mine replaced the front right hub and took care of the problem. Hub was about $160 at Autozone.

Humming noise from front end

Sounds like a bad wheel bearing - have it checked out at a reputable shop and changed, the sooner the better.
