The evap vent valve is locate behind the left rear tire,You will need to remove the tire and the plastic covers, the vent valve is located on the top of the filler pipe, filler pipe is the pipe in which you fill your gas tank.

the valve sits atop the pipe near the top, i will enclose a diagram picture to help you locate it. you can also test valve with a battery when you remove it. the valve should allow you to blow air through it and then when power is applied to valve it should close and no air should flow through it.hope this is helpful. good day.

I have had problems with my fuel tank ventilation. We live in a dusty area. Apparently, the evap vent valve gets plugged with dust. When I go to the station to fill up with gas, the pump keeps shutting off because the vent is plugged and will not allow the pressure buildup to release. Ihad it fixed once at the dealer where i purchased the car; cost was $ 350! Can I do this myself?

The EVAP Vent Control Solenoid for a 2010 Chevrolet Impala is attached to the upper part of the fuel filler neck assembly behind the wheelhouse cover on the left rear of the vehicle.

The vent solenoid valve has been redesigned to correct the problem you are having. I would recommend purchasing the dealer component.
I am not aware of any aftermarket parts suppliers.

SOURCE: Where is the radiator drain valve located on the

I First, you must remove the black air deflctor that runs underneath the radiator across the car. Maybe about 8 bolts. Even then I couldn't find the drain plug at first. It is on the driver's side. Beneath the radiator there is a heavy metal Mounting bracket. Almost looks like a crossmember. About an inch in from the left (driver's) side bottom of the bracket there is a large round hole with a rubber grommet. In the center of this hole it the outlet of the drain. If you reach directly above it on the back side of the radiator, i.e. come around back on the bracket and looking forward, you will find the drain ****. It is black plastic and has 2 ****, not a full petcock handle. It is still hard to see, even after removing the air deflector. The air deflector is the one people knock off by running too far forward when parking. I hope this helps .Remember the 2 or 3 vents at top of radiator hoses when refilling the system.
The radiator does have a hard to see drain plug on the left drivers' side. There are 5 10MM screws holding the air deflector on. The block has removable plugs, one 14MM hex next to the oil filter and one in about the same location on the other side of the block toward the firewall under the exhaust manifold.

2009 Chevy Silverado P2138 Accelerator Pedal Position

Circuit/System Description
The throttle actuator control (TAC) system uses two accelerator pedal position (APP) sensors to monitor the accelerator pedal position. The APP sensors 1 and 2 are located within the pedal assembly. Each sensor has a 5-volt reference circuit, a low reference circuit, and a signal circuit.
Two processors are also used to monitor the TAC system data. Both processors are located within the engine control module (ECM). Each signal circuit provides both processors with a signal voltage proportional to pedal movement. The processors share and monitor data to verify that the indicated APP calculation is correct.

DTC P0455: Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Large Leak

The control module tests the evaporative emission (EVAP) system for a large leak. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor signal to determine the EVAP system vacuum level. When the conditions for running are met, the control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve OPEN and the EVAP vent solenoid valve CLOSED. This allows engine vacuum to enter the EVAP system. At a calibrated time, or vacuum level, the control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve closed, sealing the system, and monitors the FTP sensor input in order to determine the EVAP system vacuum level. The following table illustrates the relationship between the ON and OFF states, and the OPEN or CLOSED states of the EVAP canister purge and vent solenoid valves.

Hello had the same problem in my 2006 Isuzu I-280 I needed to
replace at this moment the Evaporative Valve Soleniod which is instaled next to the Vapor Canister. It is mounted on the frame behind the gas tank you will have to move the spare tire out of the way one bolt holds it in place this is where the canister is and the valve is mounted on the canister this is where it is mounted on my 2006 I-280. If you need to replace the solenoid and you can't find the original Isuzu part, you can ask for the 2006 Chevy Impala V-6 3.5 Purge Valve Solenoid. It is the same piece. The old Evaporative Vent Valve Solenoid has a number part PA-GF30, and it is the same part number I found in the new Chevy Impala Evaporative Vent Valve Solenoid.

How do i fix a code 0449 on my 2010 impala

Hi there:
There is a vent solenoid in the back left (drivers) side on the inside of the fender by the filler tube where the gas goes to the tank. Just replace it on Chevy cars for this code, it's called an Canister Vent Solenoid or EVAP Vent Solenoid.

Usually this is a bad vent solenoid or a broken wire going to it; You would need a lift. The vent solenoid is near the evap canister which is tucked up into the body by the gas tank. I dont' think you can even see the wires without pulling the canister down...

Where is the eval vent solenoid valve and how do you replace it on a 2010 canaries V6. I am getting error code p0449.

On the 2010 Chevy Camaro V6, that vent solenoid is on top of the rear cross member. You might be able to squeeze a VERY small hand in there, but the regular service procedure is to drop the cross member down. Sucks, as I just had to replace the same valve.
