2002 nissan maxima windows wont roll down and lock switch doesnt work

My battery died the other day and my drivers side windows stopped working. the other doors windows were at that point working just fine. when my cars battery died for the second time the unlock switch on the drivers side stopped working as well and the other window switches will no longer work either. the sunroof does still open and close. what could be the issue?? could it just be one of the fuses and if so which one? the only somewhat related fuse in the fuse box that i found was the electrical parts but that fuse looks fine. what other fuse could it be?

It is likely the window motor is wearing out and will need to be replaced. You can always try a different switch on those wires to rule out switch problem. Otherwise, the motor will have to be replaced.

Interesting trouble you have there. Does your maxima have the intelligent keys where you can command remotely the power windows down. Has there been previous repairs done on the driver side door? You may want to monitor the the resistance values of your door key switch while car sitting at rest. It should be quiet reading on one value. Good luck.

You need a body control computer, which controls the windows, door locks and other items. The new computer will have to be programed by a good imports shop or Nissan dealer.
