88 Nissan z24i backfires through throttle body and loses power when in gear

USA cars? or not? learn that cars are not the same world wide. ok?
will if you had shopped for the part the seller shows all cars it fits.
so why not learn to at least shop and learn that, for free
or at the dealer that sells it, oops TOO OLD (most parts are from them even 10 years old)
gee and fit is not the ONLY factor, the pressure it regulates must be in PSI spec, or injections will be wrong for sure. out of spec.

Hi SARAH,CHECK THE SPLIT PART IN THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD,IT MAY BE CRACKED,CAN'T BE FIXED,HAS TO BE REPLACE,I HAVE A 85 4X4 NISSAN,HAPPEN TO MINE,THEY HAVE A HISTORY.

try this while running in neutral rev the engine if it still back fire check timing , adjust if needed if that does not solve issue the go to the plugs check spark gap use delco plugs if u can and last check vacume line u could have a hole in line this was the issue with my s-10 hope this helps

This truck has 2 ignition shstems,One of the modules is malfunctioning. follow the primary wiring from distributor to the ignition modules closeby. Disconnect one at a time untill problem found.

sounds like it could possibly be a u joint in your four wheel drive.

it sounds like the injectors are not opening up man.. replace the injectores and this should fix your problem..good luck keith....
