I recently purchase this vehicle used. and the left blinker was blinking faster than the right so I changed the bulb it corrected the issue for about two weeks and now is doing the same thing again. It appears that it keeps blowing half the bulb. What could the issue be. and what do I do next to fix this issue.

Helps to remove the battery, but small ahbds can do it.
Directly behind the lens is a big round cap ... twist it off. The bulb is held in place with a spring that locks in to a notch in the holder. When handling the new bulb, don't touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to shatter when turned on.

Double check with your local Kia dealer and see if they will cover this under warranty. if they give you the "run around" call the service rep at the 1-800 number in your owner's handbook. They are located in Irvine, CA. If not, go to the dealer and purchase a new socket and pigtail for that particular light. They may have an updated part number if this has been a reoccuring issue.
