HEY WHATS UP BRO this is what you have to do i just got brand new headlight replacements for my 05 nissan altima and it looks great by the way if you replace one you should just do both becasue it will look weird. anyways i have an hid kit as well but so. what you have to do is remove the bumper take all the plastic screw things off the top and on the botton underneith the bumber then you remove 2 screws on each side of the bumper they are located kinda in the dender well then you unscrew those then you can pretty much pull the bumper off there are 4 screws holding on each headlight 2 on top one on the side and one on the bottom front in order to remove the headlight you have to take off the bumper. hope this helps oh ya and buy buy the way you should get an hid kit the bulbe size for the altima is an h1 bulb and you need to get the single beam buld. get it at xenoneyes.com and the the 6000k. The 6000k look the best and is the brightest trust me you wont be let down they are brighter and last longer than the standard halogen bulb um also and like 5 times brighter. they are 129$ at xenoneyes.com thats the cheapest price that i have seen and they are a great value and good quality just dont touch the bulb. oh ya if you replace one headlight do both it looks much better. maybe try this web site to show you a little bit of how to do it

SOURCE: How do I change brake light bulb on 2005 Nissan Altima

Don't look at the color boxes on the box ratings they will get you mixed up. On the inside of the
tailgait assembly there's two plastics one grey and one yellow. They have nothing to do with the
replacement of the bulb, read directions carefully.

SOURCE: Location of oil filter on Nissan Altima 2005

The oil filter is located behind the right (passenger) inner fender cover. It is right next to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the front of the engine facing toward the right front wheel. I do not have a picture at this time.

Hope this is helpful!

SOURCE: head light 2005 altima

you have to remove the bulbs from inside of the hood in the engine compartment. in some cars you have to remove some "pins' and remove the entire headlight assembly.. You then remove the holder where the lightbulb is located and replace the bulb.

SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Altima makes rattling/vibration noise

It is possible that you have some timing chain noise, especially if you have the 3.5L engine. The secondary timing chain tensioners on the 3.5 have a known problem, Nissan has issued a service bulletin regarding this and there is an updated part to replace them. It is not a cheap job, but your dealer may give you some "goodwill" depending on your mileage. If you have the 2.5L the problem may a couple of other things...even more serious! They had catalytic converters that came apart and got ingested into the engine, eventually destroying it. Try googling "Altima rattle" and include your engine size in the search. There is a ton of info on the net about noises in these cars.

2005 nissan altima 3.5 compressor has voltage clutch will not engage

I would bypass the low cycling switch and service the ac first,or use direct power and ground to inspect the clutch, just make sure your compressor is not locked up first.

Two codes coming up on car even after fixing alot on car now need to figure out low cost ways to fix P0744 & P0722 code issues spent 1,800 on car & have spent 1,400 already in parts & labor.

you need a better mechanic that traces ALL of the possibilities of each code, not just read the code and trow in a part hoping that it's fixed ~ it can be wiring as well, not just plug in a new part as mentioned on the 2nd trouble code to the vehicle speed sensor

P0744 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Intermittent

P0722 Output Speed Sensor No Signal

the first of the 2 looks to be more intensive to trace and find out the problem & the 0722 is the easier job for an intermediate mechanic to trace the wiring for continuity

On my 2002 nissan altima it won't go in gear by pushing the clutch but if I cut the car off and put it in first gear and crank it it lurches forward what could be causing this and why won't my car go into...

When your engine is running at say 1200 rpm, the transmission is at zero speed with the clutch depressed. When you engage the clutch the first gear is still at zero speed trying to engage with a 1200 rpm crankshaft. In a normal transmission, they have a "synchronizer" which speeds up the gear to match the speed of the crankshaft so the gears mesh smoothly.
When you turn off your engine, the crankshaft is at zero rpm so it can go into gear with the zero rpm transmission. Bottom line...you have a problem with your synchronizer on your transmission. If you are lucky...a transmission shop could fix it without an overhall. But it needs to be diagnosed because it doesn't sound good.

2005 Nissan Altima 2.5s 4 cylinder. 1) When stopped in Drive and the air conditioning on - the engine rattles. 2) When stopped in neutral and the air conditioning on - no rattle. 3) When stopped in drive...

no it could be air condition clutch that engage/disengage the air condition compressor and disengage it through the pulley or could be the pulley bearings one of them . also check the solenoid that controls that clutch .
have a good luck sir .
