IT COULD POSSIBLY BE THE INTAKE GASKETS. FORD HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE GASKETS GOING BAD. IF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND GIVING YOU CODES PO171 AND PO174 I WOULD CHECK THE GASKETS BY SPRAYING CARB. CLEANER AROUND THE INTAKE WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. IF THE IDLE SPEEDS UP THEN THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM.

The problem you describe is consistant with a faulty starter selenoid. You can check the selenoid by attempting to jump power from the incoming hot selenoid connection to the hot that goes from the selenoid to the starter. Do this with the switch in the "on" postion. If the starter then works, replace the selenoid. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

Squeal? Did you check your belt to make sure it didn't snap . If it did your alternator wasn't giving the battery charge. It is either that or a bearing is gone on the Idler pulley . Oils good, transmission fluids good , battery has a charge over 13 v engine coolant is good? If all that pans out and you changed the cylinode switch on the wheel fender passenger side then, I'd look on the wire that goes off of that. There is an in line fuse . If it. My ford 2001 v10 f250 does not crank start or click what wrong change starter and solenoids

Might be bad starter relay, or bad ignition switch. Check for voltage to starter when key in start position, or turn on headlamps and try to start. If lamps dim, bad battery connections, bad ground, bad replaced starer. If lamps do not dim, starter position on switch may be bad. You could try using jumper from battery to start post on solenoid to see if it cranks. If it does, you have either a bad ignition switch, start relay, or wiring problem.

Where is the fuel pump relay on a 2000 ford f250 with v10 engine

book says 'near center of i/p (instrument panel). no pic though. this implies it's under the dash in or near the center; probably has a push lock on to a bracket back there hanging off the harness. hope this helps...
