Power flows from the fuse 25A in the left side electrical center to the speed switch. Power for speeds Lo, 1, 2, 3 flows through the blower motor resistor before going to the motor. When you turn the switch to HIGH, power flows from fuse 30A in the underhood fuse box to the control coil and contact side of the blower motor relay assembly. The high speed switch provides ground to the control coil in the relay and that moves the contacts which then routes power directly to the motor. Disconnect the electrical connector at the motor and turn the fan to HIGH. You should see battery voltage on the purple wire and ground on the black. If you do, then the motor is bad. If not, you probably have a bad resistor/relay assembly.

SOURCE: 2003 Suburban heater fan will not working.

1st attach a test light from negative battery terminal to voltage wire at blower motor and test for power
2nd attach a test light from positive battery terminal
to ground wire at blower motor and test for ground

if both tests light the test light suspect blower motor
if no ground suspect resistor
if no power suspect short in voltage wire
these vehicles are known for burning out the wire
connection at the blower motor look for discoloration
at the plug
i hope this helps

SOURCE: Wipers on 99 silverado 4by4 1500 suddenly only

There was a recall a while back ago for this problem. Check with your local dealer and see if the recall is still active. The problem is the circuit board on the wiper motor assemble where the wire harness connects. The solder the plastic clip on the board breaks and will cause this problem and at worst the wipers don't work at all. If you good with soldering, it's a simple fix by just re-soldering the wire harness clip back on and if you like you can buy the replacement circuit board at Auto Zone. The will have the step by step instructions for you to get the job done, a light tap will once and a while fix the problem but you may loose the whole function of the wipers. Good luck.

I have a 2000 chevy blazer the blower works on 1 2 and 3 but it wont work on 4 I changed the dash switch and the resister but that didn't work

There is a relay in the under hood fuse box , blower motor relay .When switched to high it energizes the relay allowing power from the HVAC fuse /30 amp to flow direct to the blower motor. from pin 30 to pin 87 , if you look on the side of the relay there is a diagram .For all other speeds the current flows from the switch through the resistor through pin 87a to pin 30 on to the blower motor ! Check the HVAC fuse in the under hood fuse block .IF the fuse is good check for continuity between the fuse side with out B+ that means pulling the fuse and using a volt meter to see which side has power and checking the side that doesn't have power to pin 87 at the relay socket ! Probably a bad fuse or stuck relay . Pull that relay and try a different one. You can get wiring diagram at www.bbbind.com click on technical information ,then click on Technical Service Bulletins & Wiring Diagrams .then on next page go down to the bottom and click on I agree . next page click wiring diagrams ,then just fill in you vehicle information .then HVAC system . click on diagram, then you will see 7 links , click on the 5th one and that's the diagram for the blower motor circuit !

92 honda heater blower motor quit working. took it out and tested motor and it works.not sure what the problem could be.

check for blown fuse, under the dash, drvers side and also under hood in square black box. usually on the drivers side fender well. when you remove the main fuse box cover, turn lid over for location of the heater blower motor. it may say heat, or maybe a/c blower, or just a/c check those fuses for a blown fuse. also check connections under the hood on passenger side, you'll see a round black container on the dash panel under the hood next to the windsheild, check plug in to insure that it's plugged in properly. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya, com if this does not help, please repost your question to fixya.com
