THIS COULD BE DUE TO THE SYNCRO\'S IN TRANNY ARE SHOT , & IT\'S POSSIBLE A TOOTH OR MORE COULD HAVE BROKE OFF ONE OF THE GEARS THUS JAMMING THE OPERATION.

Warning light on ,code set's in the control module for traction control - EBCM - electronic brake control module . Having the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's will point to diagnostic step's to find the problem .
mine was doing that same thing try the speedometer timing ,we had a bad one they fixed it for $200 and it was fine. hope thats helpful, I know it don't sound like it would be something like that but I was shocked when they told me too
