Need to replace the radiator - 1992 Toyota Corolla

  • Emily Bennette
    Emily Bennette Feb 09, 2016

Keryna, replacing a car's radiator can be difficult. My sister had to do some repair work on her's a while ago and it was hard for her to figure out how to do them herself. It seems like it would be a good idea for you to go take your car a professional. http://www.natrad.com.au/?services/radia...

Radiator leaking terribly (97 Grand Caravan, 3.8L)

Radiators with plastic top and bottom tanks have a limited life and if they leak it is usually terminal and will probably need to be replaced. Any radiator shop can pressure test your system. Replacement is not a huge job but radiators have become relatively expensive.

I have an anti freeze leak under my hood its 3 drips 2 coming from the radiator and 1 it seems to be coming from the water pump.would i need to replace the water pump

if the drips are coming from the water pump, than you definitely need a new water pump. if the leaks are coming from the radiator itself and not around an inlet or outlet hose, than the radiator also needs to be replaced as most radiators are cheaper to just replace than fix providing they can even be fixed at all.The web site Radiator Barn has the best deals on radiators that I have found to date.
