SOURCE: water dripping right front of 05 pt cruiser

If it's water, not coolant, it's likely some residual sloshing around in the bottom of the heater box. If antifreeze, you need to look and find the source.

SOURCE: '05 PT Cruiser O2 sensor problems.

I had a similar problem with my car. It turned out the O2 sensors were fine and the issue was a leak in the throttle body causing the engine to run lean. If you have an ODB2 scanner you can look at fuel trims, etc and will be able to tell.

How do you put fluid in the transmission of an 05 explorer? accidently drained it instead of the oil for the engine.

The same place you drained it.There is a small torx screw in the center of the large plug that is used for filling the transmission. You will need to pump fluid into the small hole.To check the fluid the engine must be idling in park and the transmission should be 100 degrees (warm to touch)but not hot.Fluid should stream slightly from the small hole when full with trans warm and engine idling.Vehicle must be level.Good Luck!

Transmission is leaking fluid. 2004 PT Cruiser

Can not solve that type of issue without seeing vehicle.
Is it common for a trans leak.it happens ,and you need to attempt to properly repair. Some leaks are not always fixable with trans in vehicle.
Don't drive it, with a situation where your always adding fluid, you'll forget and burn up the trans.

Car acts like its in neutral when I put it into drive or reverse.

assuming you have checked the trans oil and it is full, it sounds like you need to take it to a good trans shop and have it looked at. it could be something simple or something major and expensive

Need diagram for 2003 PT Cruiser engine and ties to chasiss (what holds the engine to the body)

the engine and transmission are called a trans axle your vehicle is a uni body construction, however your engine and trans are mounted on a sub frame as an assembly and are a separate part of the vehicle, that is, when the vehicle is built the trans axle is on its own frame raised up into the vehicle and bolted in place.then the electrical, hoses, exhaust, brake lines, etc. are connected to the body from it. all of this is part of the front of the vehicle only. if you look under the front of your vehicle you can see the bolts that connect the sub frame to the vehicle, however the front of the engine is connected to the body by a rubber mount this keeps the engine at proper height absorbs vibration and hold engine in place.the trans axle is mounted to the sub frame with fluid filled rubber mounts.

How to change the automatic transmission oil and filter. On 4 cylinder engine

Check fluid level every 12 months or 7500 miles, whichever comes first. Transmission fluid and filter should be changed every 100,000 miles. On THM 250C transmissions, intermediate (front) band requires adjustment every 60,000 miles, or as required.
1. With vehicle on level surface, apply parking brake and let engine run at curb idle. Move selector lever through all ranges, ending in "PARK". Remove dipstick and wipe clean, reinstall, then remove again and check fluid level mark on dipstick. Fluid level should check between "ADD 1 PT." and "FULL HOT" marks on dipstick.
RECOMMENDED FLUID Use only Dexron II or equivalent automatic transmission fluid.
CAUTION: If vehicle has been operated for an extended period of time at high speed, or in city traffic in hot weather, or if vehicle has been pulling a trailer, an accurate fluid level cannot be determined until fluid has cooled down (approximately 30 minutes after vehicle has been parked).
So let's get started... 1. With vehicle raised and drain pan placed under transmission, remove front and side transmission oil pan bolts. Loosen rear pan bolts approximately 4 turns each.
2. Carefully pry pan loose with screwdriver, allowing fluid to drain. Remove remaining bolts and oil pan with gasket. Remove screen/filter-to-valve body bolts and remove screen/filter with gasket.
3. Thoroughly clean pan and screen with solvent and dry with compressed air. Paper type filters should be replaced. Install new gasket or "O" rings, lubricated with clean oil, into screen/filter assembly.
4. Install screen/filter assembly to transmission. Use new pan gasket and install pan. Add proper amount of fluid to transmission through filler tube.
5. Start engine with shift selector lever in "PARK" position and with parking brake set. Check fluid level and add as required. CAUTION: DO NOT overfill.

Best of luck :)
