Car quit running while driving it,visual check at timing belt it's good.new crank sensor 2 weeks ago.car ran good until it quit.fuel pressure seems ok plugs are oil soaked though. replaced coil pack still no start,it tryed to start with starting fluid once and then nothing.HELP!!
It is not the fuel pump. you have a bad fuel pressure regulator . it is located on the fuel rail. here is my link to my garagehttps://www.facebook.com/TedsRepairs
You're either out of gas or you need a new fuel pump.
Roll the keys back to the 'off' position.
Have someone sit by the back tire and listen as you roll the key forward until the lights on the dash come on DO NOT CRANK THE ENGINE OVER.
If they hear the pump then you're out of gas, if they don't hear the pump your pump is likely burned up.
