I have the exact same problem! A few weeks ago, a hose attached to my radiator blew and my dad fixed it for me. Now my car keeps on overheating. I took it to autozone yesterday and they told me that I needed a Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor and an Oxygen Sensor. Does anyone know where these go??? My car is a 2000 and has a 2 liter engine. Please help!

Located on lower right side (Driver Side) of RADIATOR. It screws into the radiator. Next to lower radiator hose. Wire coming from it plugs into FAN SWITCH. Sits behind driver side FOG light.

While looking at the engine from the front, locate the transmission, come up the side of the engine and you will see a plug that is connected to a hose. that is were the temp sensor is located. remove connector and take a flat head screw driver and a pair of pliers and back out the c clip. pull the senor out and make sure you reach down in side and removed the old o ring. toss them to the side. the top of the sensor is either black or if it has been replaced before it will be green. take some of the coolant and rub it on the new o ring before installing the new one. install the new sensor, while pushing down on the sensor reinstall the c clip start the car and let it get to operating temp. shut the car down, reopen the hood and SLOWLY release the pressure in the coolant system to bleed any air in the system. and POW your done. total time of repair..about 15 minutes at the most.

SOURCE: How do I change the temperature sensor under the

It’s located on the driver’s side of the engine on top /side of the head.. midway.. I don’t think you need to remove the engine cover to see it.. if it is the correct one it will have a dark green top.. the bad version has a black top… but they can all go out to lunch on you if old enough.

To replace.. make sure the car is cool..
You need a hood tool.. or small pair of pliers to remove the retaining clip that holds it in place.
Place a rag under and around it to catch the coolant.. you will lose less than a half a cup.. if that.

Pull the retaining clip back toward you.. try not to drop it.. (another good reason for the rag)

Wiggle the sensor.. pop it out.. and replace with the new green top one make sure you clean the area well.. and when you reinstall the new one that the c clip goes back on straight or it will leak.

Once you see the part out of the box.. you will understand how it works

Start the car.. check for leaks.. run until warm with the heater on.. top up the coolant overflow bottle with distilled water.. (if more than a half a cup.. you should mix the proper anti freeze and distilled water and then top up with that)

Good luck

Location of oil filter on 2010 equinex (4 cylinder)

When Looking At The Front Of The Vehicle, The Oil Filter Is Under The Right Side Of The Intake Manifold (Located Just Above The Bell Housing). In Order To Change It, You Will Need A 36mm ECOTEC Filter Wrench (Its A Really Shallow Socket) A Swivel, 12" Extension & Ratchet. The Thing You Are Removing Is The Black Cap. Rotate It Until It Can Be Removed By Hand & Lift Out. When Installing The New Filter, Make Sure The Little o-ring Came w/ The Old Filter & Drop The Filter & Cap Straight Down Into The Block --HAND TIGHTEN-- Until The Factory O-ring (Its Reusable) Contacts The Block & Finish Tightening w/ The Socket - Just Needs To Be Snug, Dont Stupid Tighten It or It Will Break.

Step by step instuctions on how to do oil change for 2007 lexus 350 rx

Before attempting this locate the oil filter and be sure YOU can access it comfortably with a filter wrench.
You will also need to locate the drain plug on the lowest portion of the underside of the engine oil pan. The plug likely has an Allen key insert so be certain you have the correct wrench to match, along with matching filter and oil pan plug seal..
Rotate the plug counter clockwise to loosen. I change and drain mine with the oil filler cap off so air can help the drainage. Then I unscrew the filter and reinstall a fresh one being certain the gasket are is clean on the engine surface.
Reinstall fresh filter hand tight, two hands. Install drain plug by hand so as not to cross thread with a fresh seal if required, hand tighten with wrench. Then fill resevoir with at least 4 ltrs recommended oil checking dipstick so as not to overfill.
After starting check for any drips of clean fresh oil;

Does the 2001 mitsubishi has a engine filter that I can change?

The air filter is located in the large black box on the driver side, between the battery and the headlight. It is secured shut by metal clasps.

The oil filter is located underneath the engine, on the front end of the engine by the drivebelts. Right hand side of engine for 4 cylinders, left hand side of engine for V6.

How do i change the starter on a 1999 sr5 4runner

You'll need basic hand tools to change out the starter. The starter is usually held in place by 2 or 3 bolts. You'll need to make sure you note where the electrical connections go in order to replace them in the correct location following starter replacement. You'll have to get under the vehicle to replace the starter, even so, It shouldn't take more than an hour.
