My 2004 Mazda MPV's heater suddenly stopped working. I had it parked for two days in just below freezing temperature. It was very cold and it took me a couple of tryes to get it started, Once I did I drove for a few miles and I noticed that the heater only blew cold air. Unfortunately I have to take it to the dealer next week to change the ignition coil, which failed and sometimes it looses power. It takes removing the engine to get to the back spark plugs and ignition coils, yikes. So I did not expect a heater problem as well to ad to the costs. Any ideas?
SOURCE: #5 cylinder misfire
I have a corolla and had #4 cylinder misfire also diagnosed at autozone. After changing the spark plugs, problem persisted, along with the same error code, so they recommended changing the spark plug wires, and that is what fixed it. I would have changed the rotor cap too, but was low on dough. Glad that was not the problem.

Check the E-Brake, make sure that the ebrake is not engaged and that it is fully disengaging. If that is not the problem, then there is something with the brake calipers or rotors that are not allowing your brakes to fully disengage
