Buy a haynes manual (about $20) from your local parts store, amazon or haynes.com.  This will show you how to do anything you would ever have to do to the car in a consice easy to read manual.

generally there are 2 bolts on the a/c compressor, one is a long pivot bolt, the other is the one that goes through an arc shaped slot and is used to adjust tension,  loosen both (may not need to loosen pivot bolt) a small amount, then using something (maybe a piece of a 2x2) to lever the compressor out to make the belt tight, then tighten the ajdustment bolt while keeping tension on the compressor.  now you can let the leverage go and tighten the pivot bolt.    have fun.    If you are going to use something metal to lever the a/c compressor either disconnet the battery cable OR be careful NOT to come in contact with any wires that might be live ... you can weld with strong 12V car battery!

Ac Belt diagram for a 1997 Acura intrega

ADJUSTMENT

Inspect the drive belt(s) every 30,000 miles or 24 months. Determine the belt tension at a point halfway between the pulleys by pressing on the belt with moderate thumb pressure. If the deflection is found to be too much or too little, perform the tension adjustments.
On some Acura models it will be necessary to work from beneath the vehicle when servicing the accessory drive belts.
Before adjusting, inspect the belt to see that it is not cracked or worn. Be sure that its surfaces are free of grease and oil. If contamination is present, belt replacement is recommended.

  1. Push down on the belt halfway between pulleys with a force of about 20 lbs. The belt should deflect: 0.16-0.41 in. (4-11mm)-on Integra and 0.22-0.45 in. (5.5-11.5mm) on all other models.
  2. Adjust the belt tension by loosening the adjusting bolts.
  3. Next loosen any mounting bolts and/or nuts that may hinder adjustment.

3.0CL models have automatic tensioners therefore no belt adjustment is required.
  1. To adjust the alternator belt tension on Integra, loosen the adjustment lock bolt and move the alternator with a prybar positioned against the front of the alternator housing.

WARNING Do not apply pressure to any other part of the alternator or damage may occur.
  1. To adjust the tension on all other accessory drive belts (all Acura models except 3.0CL), loosen the adjustment lock bolt and turn the adjusting bolt (if applicable) as required.

Do not over tighten any of the belts. Damage to the pulley's bearings may result.
  1. After obtaining the proper tension, tighten the adjustment lock bolt.
  2. Tighten all other bolts and/or nuts that were loosened in the adjustment process.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Many Acura models are equipped with a theft deterrent audio system. Make sure you have the necessary code before disconnecting the battery.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Loosen the driven accessory's pivot and mounting bolts.

If removing the alternator belt on a 3.0CL, pull back on the belt tensioner with a commercially available tool.
  1. Remove the belt.
  2. Install the belt by moving the accessory toward or away from the engine until the tension is correct. You can use a wooden hammer handle, or broomstick, as a lever, but do not use anything metallic, such as a prybar. Certain models may utilize an adjusting bolt to do this work for you. Simply loosen the mounting bolt and turn the adjuster.

On 3.0CL pull back on the tensioner to install the belt, the tension is automatically set.
  1. Tighten the bolts and recheck the tension. If new belts have been installed, run the engine for a few minutes, then recheck and readjust as necessary

You'll need to replace the distributor as an assembly, they are a very common problem and sold at any good local parts store fairly cheaply. Remove the cap first to note the position of the rotor. The distributor only goes in one way, but it's easier if you know which way to point the rotor when you install it. It's a good idea to re-time it after the install but if you mark the location of the old one, you can get pretty close if you put the new one in the same spot.

Can i put a 1994 acura integra ls trans to replace a 1989 acura i

I don't think this would be possible wihtout some hassles.

The engine type build changed twice between the 89 and the 94 series integra.

I would suggest you speak to Honda specialised mechanic before you purchase the 94 tranny.

Also check out the Honda forums as they ahve guys who have done some handy things with the ol integra

2.7L & 3.5L Engines same Tools & Procedure Rate Me Please 1/2 in. breaker bar & Special Tool 7198 for conventional V-belts and Poly-V belts
  1. REMOVAL
    AIR CONDITIONING BELT

NOTE: The A/C drive belt self tensioner is NOT a dynamic tensioner. After adjustment the tensioner bracket bolts are tightened. The torsion spring is no longer responsible for tensioning the A/C belt. The torsion spring is only used for initial belt tensioning.
    1. Remove generator/power steering belt to gain access to A/C belt. Refer to GENERATOR/POWER STEERING BELT for procedure.

    1. Loosen BUT DO NOT REMOVE tensioner locking bolt and pivot bolt (Fig. 2).
    2. Insert 1/2" drive breaker bar into square opening on belt tensioner. Rotate tensioner counterclockwise until belt can be removed from pulleys (Fig. 2).
    3. Slowly rotate tensioner clockwise to relieve spring load.
    CLEANING
Clean all foreign debris from belt pulley grooves. The belt pulleys must be free of oil, grease, and coolants before installing the drive belt.

    INSPECTION
Belt replacement under any or all of the following conditions is required:
    • Excessive wear
    • Frayed cords
    • Severe glazing
  • Poly-V Belt system may develop minor cracks across the ribbed side (due to reverse bending). These minor cracks are considered normal and acceptable. Parallel cracks are not (Fig. 3).

    NOTE:
Do not use any type of belt dressing or restorer on Poly-V Belts. INSTALLATION

    2. Release tensioner and remove breaker bar. Belt is automatically adjusted with the tensioner's torsion spring.
    3. Tighten tensioner locking bolt and pivot bolt to 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.) (Fig. 2).
    4. Install generator/power steering belt.
    AIR CONDITIONING BELT - USED

NOTE: A "used belt" is considered having more than 500 miles of service use. NOTE: Perform steps 1-7 to change the tensioner spring from the NEW belt position, to the USED belt position.
    1. Insert a 1/2" drive breaker bar into the square opening on tensioner. Hold counterclockwise pressure on tensioner, while removing tensioner locking bolt (Fig. 2).
    2. Carefully release the tension of spring on tensioner.
    3. Remove pivot bolt, tensioner, and spring from front cover.
    4. Insert spring into the USED belt position on tensioner bracket (Fig. 4).
