If it is rearwheel drive it will be toward output shaft on tailstock.....frontwheel drive, probably on top of casting above where the cv shafts exit the housing.....
A speed censor would be a part which refuses to tell you how fast you are going. A speed sensor tells the computer how fast the final drive is turning, and thus is normally located on the rear section of the transmission and held in place by bolts or screws in place.
theres a short somewhere in that circuit. use a test light to see if more than one wire is grounded. may have pinched a wire when the bell housing was bolted back up or could be a ground strap not connected.
the speed censor is on the side of the tranny it has a two wire pluggin going to it.speed censor are pretty easy to put in ,they just tread in to the side of the tranny.
Hi, the late shift, and late overdrive issue may not be trans. related, if you need to feather the accelerator to achieve your shifts, and you have a late sift, or loss of power, you may have a restricted fuel filter. The lack of fuel volume can result in what feels like a trans. issue, but in actuality, you are starving the engine for fuel. I would check this first, as it is an easy, cheap possibility. Good luck...Coop
Your car has the 4L60E trans, and the speed sensor is located in the tailshaft of the trans. The tailshaft is located on the rear of the trans, and is held onto the trans with 4,15mm bolts. The driveshaft slips into the tailshaft. The speed sensor will have at least 2 wires going to it.The speed sensor will be located either on the driverside or passenger side of the trans.95 was a transitional year,so the speed sensor could have been mounted on either side.Good luck
