Turn signal switch is OK, Flashers work, right signal works, but left signal will not work.
SOURCE: LEFT TURN SIGNAL WON'T
Remove bulb one at at time.
Check the socket for TWO contacts (two elements) or single contact.
Check the bulb.
Make sure you has the correct bulb install.
A single contact bulb will short out a TWO contacts socket.
Wrong type of bulb will cause the problem you has now.
The correct model for rear turn signal is 3497.

Could be the switch itself. Pretty easy to replace the whole turn signal switch. I've had the flashers go out also on mine, but mine ended up being the switch. I grabbed one from a recycling yard, cost me less than $20.

I have 2000 chev blazer , and every time I start the car, I hear the turn signal making tik- tak sound even though I have not turn signal on. The signal switch works ok , and it returns back to the normal position , but that tiking drives me crazy, it stops only when I apply breaks, and when I let the brakes off, it starts to make that sound. Can anyone help?
