SOURCE: rear air suspension

The air bag get leaks that start out slow and increase it's better to get a new air bag if you don't the air compressor will get overworked and burn-up and that costs alot more.

SOURCE: air suspension not leveling the vehicle as it should

Hi. i would check the air bags and the compressor unit as well. the previous air bag replacement procedure could have been a non successful endeavor and you may have to return to the shop so they can look over this installation of the new bags. I would also check the compressor unit as well. this device may be malfunctioning.

Please rate and god bless:)

SOURCE: my rear air suspension doesnt air up

It sounds to me like you have a hole or cracks in your airbag. The dealership typically diagnoses it as the compressor but that is only to keep you coming back and wasting more money on something that will never truly be fixed. The Compressor is the problem but the airbags are bad as well. When the air bag has a hole or leak in it the compressor has to work extra hard because it is like blowing up a balloon with a hole in it. Therefor the airbag will kill the compressor. It sounds like this is what happened. I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. This is a PERMANENT fix and ALOT cheaper than going to the dealership. I added the link below so you can check it out. http://www.strutmasters.com/ford-suspension-parts-s/75.htm I hope I was of some help Good Luck!!!

Air bag pump is running, new airbags . rear bags wont air up.

These Lincoln air suspensions are terrible. I have converted many over to coil springs at a fraction of the cost of replacing/repairing the bags. If the rear bags don't inflate, there is a broken air line to the bags or the bags are leaking

Self leveling suspension rear is deflated what do i have to do to make it come up

make sure you have air being pumped to that side air bag ,also check leveling valve on that side that determins if air is put in or let out, make sure pump is working at all, disconnect lines to check for air being pumped ,BE CAREFULL bags my deflate causing car to lower , check fuses for suspension control . I hope this helped .

HOW DOES BUICK LEVELING COMPRESSOR WORK?

It uses sensors to determine level of car and activates the compressor to level it to the preset settings in the control modules memory. The common problem is that the air suspension bags leak after about 75,000 miles of use. As for wiring diagrams we have none due to copyrighted material. You can find all that you need in the factory manuals, you can buy access here.

My suspension is low at the rear ,what could be wrong

the most common problem in this truckr and the Ford expidition is that the rear suspension air springs are leaking, they last about 75,000 miles, less on really rough roads.

2001 ford expidition, back end low and ck susp. light came on

at a guess you need new valves or air bags for the suspension. not cheap & best left to professionals. whenever you have to jack or tow vehicle to a point where the vehicle is out of level, make sure to disable the air suspension using the switch located near the front seat passenger's feet up under dash, in a corner. this helps prevent damage to air bag system & repairs
