SOURCE: 1988 Volvo 240 DL won't start B230F

I had more or less the same problem. It would only happen when the engine was cold. According to the mechanic, the fuel pump was going bad. After replacing it, I havent had it happen to me again, granted its only been a couple of days since I changed it.

SOURCE: turn signal flasher location for 1988 mazda rx-7

It is part of a combined relay module located on the driver side kick panel. It has a 17 pin connector on the top portion. Search online and you can find the factory service manual for this car that will give you this and more info.

SOURCE: neither turn signal work on 1999 volvo s80, fuses are ok,

Remove the fuse that is labeled "SWM" in the fuse box, then re-install it. This should fix your problem. Have the software updated by a Volvo dealer to prevent this in the future.

88 volvo 240 dl won't shift into 4th

This is common to the AW70 transmission when the rear bushing has been left very worn for a period of time. The rear shaft wear heavily on the main transmission housing causing the pressure not to build enough to engage the overdrive gear.

I have a 1988 volvo 240 gl and my main fuel isnt getting power

There is a fuse up by the Battery alone in a white receptacle with red wires. It may not be blown but is corroded. Thoroughly clean it. This feeds the Fuel pump circuit. If tat is good the white fuel pump relay under the glove box may be bad.

YJ Blinker Relay

Hi there,

Both the hazard and the blinker flashers are located on the fuse panel. They pull straight out.

When both turn signals fail, the cause may be a blown fuse, a faulty flasher, a broken turn signal switch or a bad connection.

When you try the turn signals, do they light up and not blink?
-If so, probably the flasher unit.

When you try the turn signals, does nothing happen?
-Check the fuse

Let me know if the problem continues after replacing the flasher.

Mike
