Its most likely one of two possible causes. It could be the IPDM box's ECU relay, that will cause a number of different problems with idling and rev limiting. Swap the ECU relay with the fog light relay first, since it won't cost anything. The other possible cause would be the fuel pump. Titan's have they're fuel filter built into their pump. The pump is cooled with the fuel in the tank, so if it was a slow building issue or if you run your truck low on fuel often then this could be your problem. If it happened sporadically and out of nowhere then I would swap relays (ECU with fog light relay).

Normally I look at timing as this issue but being that new it is unlikely. Check the MAF sensor and PCV valve as well as the Vacuum system for leaks. After that it becomes an issue of the valves or compression. Do a compression check to see if your compression is good and check if you have a compression leak. If you have any issues in your compression your going to have issues building RPM. It is possible the issue could be a Cam Position sensor or Crank Position sensor but you would have a check engine light if either of those conditions existed.

Hello, number of things. Have you run a diagnostic test on your truck? It could be throttle sensor, air flow sensor, electronic spark advance, extremely dirty fuel filter, dirty air filter. fuel pump,
fuel ratio sensor, and they are many other components that can go wrong. GB...stewbison

2006 titan it will run but no rev, only 1200 rpm

Your Titan has an electronic accelerator pedal position sensor. I would suspect your problem is with it. Try unplugging the sensor and checking the connections before anything else. Sometimes just unplugging and replugging the connector a couple of times will fix the problem.

My hondacivic 1.6 vtec is misfiring when taking off then it smooths out a bit when sitting still wont rev past 4 rpm

You have a misfire, so you don't need someone to
tell you to diagnose what you already know you have

It won't rev past 4,000 rpm, because it is programmed that way,
just so you don't & ruin the engine

If you want to play--- get a car from the 1960's & have some fun

06 titan truck won't accelerate even when the gas

If the engine RPM's increase when the gas pedal is floored, you have a transmission problem or a problem with your shift cables.

If the engine RPM's don't change when the gas pedal is floored, you have a throttle pedal cable problem or throttle body problem.

You will need an experienced mechanic to diagnose this problem as it is very dangerous to operate the vehicle under these conditions.
