Quite likely the rattle is a relay or solenoid that is trying to activate but there's not enough power to make it work properly. The solenoid on the starter motor will make such a noise when it's not getting enough power. Depending on location, getting 5 years from a battery is optimistic. Since you're mentioning the battery almost right away, I think you may have your answer but have not had it or your charging system tested. Your regular repair shop will be able to test your battery and charging system for you for a reasonable cost and will help you determine what steps you need to take next.

great question. 1MZ-FE the V6 has a fuel rail and all rails made have a plug there (pipe plug) to test it or a mounted Schrader valve (rated for fuel not tire kind at all.) if not there we add one. on all cars. or make up and adapter there are many ways, depends on year. the plug on rail , the valve. on newer cars a quick disconnect line , you add matching Tee fitting. some have test port on the fuel filter is outside tank. here is 95 rail with no fitting, cant find 2000 the 2002 is non return system (2000 i dont know) summit racing sells a banjo bolt that is hollow to fit rails. remove banjo at crossover, put in new bolt and bam, got a port.

the running lights and headlights, while they may be on a single switch mechanically, they are actually separate circuits, with two or three separate fuses.... you need much deeper circuit tracing

All vehicles since 1981 some 35 years, have had computers doing the tuning,so no tune-ups,long gone, some 25 years ago The place you went to, obviously, just threw some parts at it & did not do what was required Now you can go back there or pay a second time, elsewhere to have your car properly worked on, to find any & all problems

it should tell you in your owners manual what type of oil to use also pop your hood and it should tell you on the black cap where you put your oil in the motor what it takes my Toyota Camry takes 5W-30 it is a 1999 so your 2000 probably takes the same if that helps

Try turning the wheel as you turn the key.

I too would suspect the Idle AIr Control valve. That is becoming a very common issue these days; we replace several a month.

Factory TDS? alldata.com or the FSM from toy. it has a "theft deterrent ECU" one clue is the 22 wire going to it, that out to lower the odds.? online at alldata.com i search for "location" and page 6, shows "transponder key amplifier", T6 about right knee in dash next brake switch. the TDS is T3/T4 id, theft det. under center console rear. or under passenger seat (LHD) cant tell by the drawing but that is 1sq area, so that close enough. working modern cars FSM free, is a hopeless thing... very very complex and lots of parts and system, mine has 14 CANBUS computers.

the cd player is busted. get it serviced. so easy,, this.... but why is running with key off, it must not be stock. huh? or the key really is not off. The rad runs off IGN1, IGN2 and ACC , and ever OFF. pull the radio fuse in main fuse box. that must kill it, (the dial light is parking. and there can be a memory wire too, that is ok, the memory wire is hot all the time, and im sure its ok)
