Rear brake lights stay on

Hello,
Lift the back door & you will see 2 screws securing the tail light assembly, take them out & gently wiggle the assembly to release the 2 rubber locating pins, & that will give you access to all the globes in the tail light assembly.

Thanks

Door locks do not work with the buttons fuse is

A bad switch would not prevent the remote control receiver or another door lock switch from providing power to the lock unit. Other possibilities include a break in the wiring harness, most likely where it goes from the vehicle body into the door. and corrosion in the connector. If the door locks and unlocks with the remote unit or with other lock buttons in the vehicle, most of the wiring harness is verified good; only the wiring to the switch that doesn't work is suspect. There are several tests that can be carried out to isolate the problem. One (if you have a way to identify the pins such as matching wires on the switch connector with those on the lock unit connector) is to unplug the switch and check the contacts for continuity while you operate the switch. You can (with the lock fuse removed so you don't risk damaging your meter) measure the resistance of the lock unit to ground from the switch connector - this verifies the wiring harness at the switch. If this checks out, put the fuse back in and measure voltage on the incoming power lead to the switch to verify that wire is good. Note: oxidation (tarnish) in the connector may prevent an adequate connection even though the wiring passes the previous tests. If the connector pins or sockets appear to be tarnished, clean them with a soft white pencil eraser if possible; otherwise use electrical contact cleaner. Do not use electric motor cleaner; that could damage the plastic. On some vehicles, it is possible to disassemble the switch unit and clean the contacts, but you have to be very careful not to break the plastic hook tabs that hold it together. The springs in the switches can be tricky to work with also, so be careful when you take it apart so pieces don't fly away or fall out before you can see where they belong. If you discover a broken or cracked switch actuator or contact mount (part of the switch case), you may be able to repair it with ABS plastic pipe glue or JB-Weld or similar metal-filled epoxy. You can try using metal-filled epoxy to build up a worn actuator surface - put on a dab and file it to the correct shape when it is cured.
