Particles filter

The DPF (diesel particulate filter) will require regeneration. This is a filter inside the catalytic convertor which has to be really really hot to regenerate on its own. Try running the car as normal for 15 minutes to normal operating temp, then drive it for 3 or 4 miles in 2nd or 3rd gear at 4 or 5000 revs and this will heat up the catatlyst and MAY regenerate, if not your saab dealer will need to do it with their diagnostic machine.
Cars with DFP's need to have a good rev out run weekly to avoid this happening again. Also make sure you are using the correct engine oil spec when servicing as this can casue issues with it.

Saab 9-3 trip computer SID with only partial display, fixable?

TRY THIS: http://www.saab9-5.com/howto/sidrepair.htm
That shows Step by Step info how to do it, and it looks promising, Im going to try that on my 9-5 Trip computer and Im sure the 9-3 has the same since Saab models from 1998 - 2003 have the same common problem, save yourself the money on a refurbished one, I got quoted $300 for a new one, why bother if I can fix it myself, and if I scew it up, then buy a refurb one,

2000 Saab 9-5 wagen - engine stops

Sounds like your CPS (crankshaft position sensor) is defective. It is a cheap sensor $75ish and only takes 30min max to R&R. Both the 4 cylinder turbo and 6 cylinder turbo have this sensor (different sensor, same concept) You can also check the function of your FPR (fuel pressure regulator) by sucking on the vacuum line attached to the intake manifold. It should hold vacuum without leaking down.

Oil light comes on under deceleration.oil levels are fine

I would guess your oil pump is going out causing it to loose oil pressure. If you continue to drive your car in this condition it will most likely ruin the engine. If it is not your oil pump it is something else causing you to loose oil pressure and I would have it looked at soon.
