check the brake light switch , its located at the top of the brake pedal,, up under the dash where the brake arm is mounted. its just a switch that passes the 12 volts to the brake lights, its either on or off so its not complicated , check to be sure the connector is fully connected ,, sometimes the wires come loose, you can check the switch itself with a meter,, with the switch depressed you will get a pass through of power, and when released nothing passes through,, if your not getting the 12 volts traveling through the depressed switch, replace it and you should be fine

it may be that the battery in the key is flat,if the battery can't be replaced you may have to buy a new key from lexus dealer........hope this helps......cheers.

REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES AND CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS. SOUND LIKE FUEL INJECTORS LEAKING FOULING OUT SPARK PLUGS WHEN YOU TURN OFF ENGINE.WHEN YOU START CAR UP NEXT MORNING CYLINDERS MISFIRING SO BAD FROM FOUL PLUGS ENOUGH SHAKE ENGINE.WHEN ENGINE RUNS FOR FEW MINUTES THAT WILL BURN OFF FOUL SPARK PLUGS UNTIL ENGINE RUN NORMAL.

follow the big rubber hose from the radiator to the engine. the top readiator hos. If at the engine there is two bolts holding down the hose connection housing, You found iit. If not there, look on the block end of the lower host.

If its done over 60k.Then there is a possability your air flow meter has failed,Replace only with the original part.There are many cheapys out there dont by one has they are not callabrated for your car and want work.Resulting in the same problem.pippall hope that sorts it for you m8.

You are only supposed to losen then. Here are some good instruction with layout that might be of help:

REMOVAL:

1. Loosen the pivot bolt and adjusting lock bolt. Torque: Pivot bolt: 38 foot pounds. Adjusting lock bolt: 13 foot pounds.
2. Loosen the drive belt tension by adjusting bolt and remove the drive belt

INSTALLATION:

1. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

To remove the P/S belt, remove the right fender apron. Then loosen the pivot and adjusting bolts, swing the P/S pump towards the engine and remove the P/S belt.

the bulbs may be installed incorrectly or partially burned, it could be a loose ground wire on the brake lights, or perhaps a short in the dash. I would start with the bulbs though. hope this helps.

It can if the misfire is bad enough. 300 tells you that you have a random misfire, 305 tells you misfire on cylinder 5, and 306 misfire on cylinder 6. Correct these and your vehicle should improve, however I would check the codes once again after this issue is corrected to determine if another DTC code was missed.
