Radio stopped after the battery died and was recharged

The first thing to check is the fuse for the radio. More likely, though, is that the radio needs a security code to turn back on. A local dealership may be willing to give you this code if you go there with your title. There also websites that offer radio unlock codes. Does the radio display anything when you start the car or when you try to turn the radio on?

Concorde won't change out of low

The following are the general instructions on the start of diagnosing any electronically controlled engine or transmission problem.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems.

I have a 2004 Chrysler Concorde Limited with a

I had the same issue that has evolved into the car starting and idling for 2-3 seconds then stalling. After doing this five times it won't turn over at all. All the dash lights are on but no turn over. After the car sits for appoximately 15-30 minutes, it starts and runs fine for 3-4 weeks then does it again. I was told this is due to the camshaft and crank position sensors needing replaced.

Intermittent failure to start problem

Hello

The Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

Brake lights do not owrk

First check for a blown fuse. If fuses are good, pop a brake light out and look to see if the element in the bulb is bad. If bulbs are good, use a tester of some sort to check for power in the socket. Remember that the brakes must be pressed in for this. If no power there, it could be a shorted wire or possibly the actuator under the dash by the pedal has issues. With a continuity tester and some patience, (and some electrical understanding) you will trace it down easily.

2004 CHRYSLER CONCORDE LXI P0441

Did you have the codes erased after the repair ?The evap system has several parts that could cause the code. The system applies pressure to the fuel tank every few minutes and checks for leaks. If any are detected, or if the system will not hold pressure, the light comes on. A common problem is a faulty gas cap but I don't know if that will set a code 441.

Is the best method of Removal and Replacement of

Yes, the only way is though the wheel well. You have to remove the wheel to make enough room to get it out. You also can remove the air cleaner box to get better access to the top post and hold down bracket. 4 thumbs up is appreciated if this helps.
