What is the firing order for a 1991 crx si

All Honda 4 cylinder engines that I have worked on have a firing order of 1342. That is the firing order on your CRX. #1 is the cylinder closest to the timing belt.

What is the firing order for a 1991 crx si

the firing order for your 91 crx should be 1, 3, 4 and 2. You need to identify where the rotor points to when cylinder 1 is at top dead center. Cylinder number 1 is the one closest to the accessory belts (alternator, power steering , etc, hope this helps.

Hood release is broke on both ends, how do I get my hood opened on a 91 honda crx?

Lee Another older post and I hope you've gotten your hood open by now for maintenance. But you should be able to jack the car up and remove an access panel or two and look up and see the hood latch mechanism. You should be able to grab onto the mechanism with a coat hanger or something similar.to open.

Can't release bonnet

Get somebody to push down hard on the bonnet as you pull the lever. This should pop it openThe mechanism gets all rusty and the little slide plate inside gets stuck.Once open look at the bonet latch , you will see it\'s all rusty - about half way down there\'s a slot with a little plate that moves in and out to hold bonnet . Clean all this up and it should fix the problem

I'm BAFFLED with a heater issue. Heat went off in my 1991 CRX SI with no apparent reason. Car is not overheating. Coolant in tank is full and it's clean. Top radiator hose is hot; bottom hose

Check the PUMP, there is apump that pumps the coolant from the radiator into the engine, if its broken you will have that problem.

Will not start there is no juice going from the battery to the engine at all the lights will not turn on or the horn won't blow nothing works at all

did you changed the battery ? and then it did not start, how do you know that it is fully charged. well lets assume that you are right, get a test light, start by putting one end to the battery positive +, the other end touch the engine block, valve cover what ever is metal on the engine, if comes on you are ok is far is the battery, then if ok, open the fuse box next to the battery and look for a main fuse, 80 or 100 amp, if you cant see inside, or you cant pock it, pullet out, ground one leg on the body any were, and touch the other leg with the test light, if it light up is ok, if you can pocket, the test light mast light up when you hook up the test light alligator to ground. and continue testing all the big fuses, also look at the battery + terminal may have a little box on top with 1 or 2 fuses, main fuses, check them the same way, both side of the fuse must lit up, if one side does not lit up, you have a open main fuse. good luck.

How do you install adjustable lowering coilover

NOT NECESSARILY IN ORDER: Remove the 2 nuts from the top of your shock tower under the hood - remove the pivot bolt at the bottom of your shock fork - remove the upper control arm ball joint nut - remove the lower control arm ball joint nut - bang on the thick metal near the ball joints with a hammer (not hitting the rubber or the ball joint's bolts - remove the tie rod ball joint nut and do the same with the hammer - pull the shock and spring assembly out - You might need a spring compressor to take out the stock spring safely - remove the nut on top of the shock - It's recommended that you replace your shocks now - install the new springs according to the directions with the package - get a camber correction kit for your car - put it back together and immediately go pay for an alignment. Good luck.
