Hi i have a audi

No it can't - it's an inductive pickup in a sealed casing, so when they fail, that's it. You can contact www.Shokan.com - they're an Audi recycling yard - and have them send you a used one. They warranty their parts and it should be quite a bit cheaper than buying a new one.

These can only come from dealerships. Best to call the parts department as they generally tend to be more knowledgeable.

Code radio Audi A6 auz1z7p4729562

Press and hold (at the same time) the AM/FM and the SCAN buttons until the display reads "1000".
Use the station preset buttons 1,2,3,4 to change each of the digits to the proper code. Button 1 changes the first digit (on the left), button 2 changes the second digit, etc.
Note: supposedly the programmable units were originally coded with either "1111" or "1234" by the dealer. It is quite possible that the code was never changed by previous owners, so if you don't know the code, you can try these.
Press and hold the AM/FM and SCAN buttons again until the radio comes on.
If you fail to give the correct code after two tries, the unit will be locked in "safe" mode and won't change. To try again, leave it switched on for approximately one hour.

hope above work with u

My 2002 Audi A6 seems

Hello
The first thing that needs to be done here is have the transmission fluid checked for proper level and for condition (the fluid should be changed every 60,000), the fill point in on the transmission case and requires a special tool to check, the transmission has no dip stick. Next the electronic control module for the transmission (TCM) and for the engine must be tested for fault codes, this is called an OBD2 electronic engine control fault code test. Since all the parts in this system are very high dollar the testing is not an option. The entire system including the transmission is controlled by a computer so electronic system issues must be checked first.

Hello. I'm from Russia. I

Hi, You should be able to get the code from any Audi or VW dealer. They wil ask for your proof of ownership then they will charge you a fee and give you the code.
Also usually, any radio installer can recode it for you for a small fee.
Hope you soon get your radio working

I have a 1997 Audi

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You must have the security anti-theft code for your Audi radio from the car manufacturer, or from an Audi dealer!

You can find the radio code at: http://www.radio-code.co.uk/

The sequence of programming for 1997 Audi A6 radio is:
1. Push simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys until on the screen will appear "1000" displayed.
2. Release keys. No more push on "SCAN" and "RDS" keys because otherwise number "1000" will be considered as first safe code attempt.
For example: we have the security code "5079". Then:
3. By the no.# 1 key you will set up the first safe code digit. Push 5 times on the no.# 1 button. The "5" number will be setted.
4. By the no.# 2 key you will set up the second safe code digit. Push 10 times on the no.# 2 button. The "0" number will be setted.
5. By the no.# 3 key you will set up the third safe code digit. Push 7 times on the no.# 3 button. The "7" number will be setted.
6. By the no.# 4 key you will set up the four-th safe code digit. Push 9 times on the no.# 4 button. The "9" number will be setted.
7. Then push again simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys for confirm this safe code. On the screen will be displayed "SAFE" notice. Release keys! For few seconds a radio frequence will be displayed.

The radio is now ready for use!

How many motor mounts does an A6 have

I believe 3 motor mounts for the engine and one for the transmission. Remember that if it is an all wheel drive it has a transfer case which drives all four wheels.

My 2002 audi a6 gas

OK I would recommend going to a local auto parts store that has a scan tool for use or will do free scans on the car. This device allows you access to the computer stored codes to help pinpoint the failure. A loose gas cap will usually show up as an EVAP Leak code. If those are the only codes that you see then they can be deleted with that scan tool and the light should go off. If the light comes back on again then you have other issues that might need to be corrected. I also believe what you are seeing is the check engine light but I would reference the service manual for clarification on that. Although this light will come on if you leave the gas cap loose, there remains many other reasons this light can betriggered to come on.

My 2002 Audi A6 with

1. Check and replace if necessary the Camshaft Position Actuator B Bank 2. Bank 2 is the left side cylinder block bank, (driver's side for LHD vehicles). Also see if the variable camshaft mechanism movement is all right, and nothing can block it. The codes 16408 and 16684 must be eliminated definitely!
2. Then test the engine. If the code 16689 = Cylinder 5 - misfire detected, still occurs, check the spark plug, ignition coil and injector. Replace bad piece(s). The code 16689 must be eliminated definitely!
3. The codes 16805 = Warm Up Catalyst Bank-1, Efficiency Below Threshold, and 16815 = Warm Up Catalyst Bank-2, Efficiency Below Threshold, are caused by the misfires sending unburned fuel into the exhaust, and will be erased from Engine Control Module memory.

Test the car and send me back if everything is OK, or if any DTC code still remains.
Good Luck!
