Bad radiator hoses upper or lower, hole in radiator, bad thermostat housing gasket, leaking head gaskets, or rusted out engine freeze plugs.
2006 Subaru Outback horn will not blow in center
There is a "clock spring" that allows current to get from your horn button, through the steering wheel. Due to the spinning of the steerring wheel. This is a wound up flex circuit, and they can break. Sounds like yours has an issue. It's located behind the steering wheel and air bag.
How much is the torque
- You don't really have to use a torque wrench on an oil plug.
- Make sure the gasket on the oil plug is not overly worn, dried, cracked etc.
- Make sure the gasket is on the plug.
- Provided the plug goes into the pan fairly easy just snug it up. Not to tight or it will strip.
- When you are done wipe the plug with a rag and just inspect the plug fo leaks (oil filter too) after you turn the car on.
- If it does not leak your good to go.
- Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Tony
