How to remone 1998 windstar GL (3.8 L) Ignition Locl.

Could be the relay or something else. The relay powers the pump for 3 seconds on crank then the engine computer must see RPM or oil pressure for the relay to keep sending power to the pump. You could bypass the relay to check the pump operation. The relay is grounded / controlled by the engine computer.

Toba, Transmission control switch(tcs sw) or Traction control switch. it's telling you there is a problem in transmission that needs diagnosed.

Now this is just a thought since I have herd of this recently on a friends ford car....his was getting slower every week and found to be a clogged catalytic convertor. Just a thought. In neutral revs up fast with no problems. Strange how that happens. This is just a thought.

The sensor codes have to be read off a computer to see the problem, either speed sensor, sounds more like ABS module. Locate the main fuse/control box under hood. There should be either a relay or large fuse marked for abs.Good Luck.Please rate me as ' helpful ' if satisfied.

Fuse panel is located behind the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. There is also a fuse panel located on the left side of the engine compartment. Fuses #25 and #27 on the interior fuse panel are both associated with the turn signals.

I had the same problem. Cheap way to fix is to remove fuse. Only problem with that is my power windows were on the same fuse so they wouldn't work without the fuse. Alternative was to remove the bulbs from interior lights and leave the fuse in. The door ajar light will remain on but at least your interior lights won't be on running down your battery.

The fuel shut off is a switch - inertia fuel cut off switch , it cut's electric power to the fuel pump . If it was tripped just push the button ! Located behind- driver side kick panel !
