Oil pump ford explorer

No that is not the pump that you smell. You need to have a test gauge hooked up to verify that you have good oil pressure, if it is ok then replace the sending unit for the oil pressure gauge.

Clogged fuel line

How do you know that it is clogged? There are several possibilities. There is an Inertia switch which shuts off fuel pump power. Do you hear a fuel pump running when the key is turned on? The fuel pump also has a Relay. Has the fuel pump filter been replaced? The filter may be blocked. The tank also has a plastic internal screen which can break down and clog the pump intake. Depending on where you live, below freezing temperatures can form ice in the lines. A product called "Heet" can melt this.

WHAT DO OBD2 CODES

P0171 and P0174 are identical except for the sensor locations. For both to appear at the same time, a common source is likely. Go to the following URL and read the various descriptions: http://www.obd-codes.com/p0171You can decide for yourself what the common source(s) is/are. I'd bet on the MAF.
