so you have problems with the 4 Wheel Drive and also with the ABS System?
you need a local auto electrician to use a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose. It take about 30 minutes and cuts out all the guesswork.

Check for vacuum leaks.
Have someone feather the gas pedal while you listen carefully to the engine. If the leak is bad enough you'll probable hear it.
More than likely, it's either a vacuum hose or the o-rings under the intake manifold.
Hope this helps!
Hi, It's a long winded explanation so I would suggest you go to this YouTube link. You may have to enter the site address manually, but it should take you right to it.
There are a number of videos on this site, so you can either watch each one in turn, or pick the one you think will give the best info.
Kind regards
David
Start looking at the alternator replacement... I would go directly back to the shop that performed the work..ask nicely, then demand, then CALL THE BBB... they did something..left a wire loose, (not tight).. something.. Remember - it started the moment you drove off their lot!!!
Special tools are necessary to take off the steering wheel and the lock plate underneath it. Have it repaired by a mechanic that possesses those tools.

Instead of just replacing parts ,why don't you take it an get it diagnosed at a ASE certified repair shop . You need to test ! is there DTC's - diagnostic trouble codes ? Is there a voltage at the switch ? an then check to see if there is a return voltage at the control module . These systems are complex an replacing parts doesn't work ! Go to you tube an check out some videos on basic automotive electrical system trouble shooting . An voltage drop testing videos . Then you need to find yourself a wiring diagram an check power an grounds for the module .
None in the relay/fuse panel. The blower has a relay built into the resistor. The others don't have relays, just fuses. The only thing they have in common is ground wires. if the info is in the IP. then it has died.
At least you know the anti theft system is working. Jokes aside, I would think that the electronic security system is not recognising the new lock and steering column. You could try leaving the battery completely disconnected for at least 2 or 3 hours to see if the system resets. Reconnect the battery and then try again with the new key. You will have to put the security code back into your radio as well. If this doesn't work, it may need to go to a Dealer to reprogram your electronic system.
First, test your tps with a multimeter to make sure it is good. Explorers and mustangs are knownto go through them every decade or so. Reading should be smooth from no pedal all the way to wide open throttle.
If the tps tests ok, the relearn procedure is simple. Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or so. Reconnect the terminal and start the engine. Just let it sit there idling for 10 to 15 minutes. Then turn the A/c to max cool on high fan for a minute or two. Drive around and see how it does. You can turn the ac off or not. The end.
The theft light flashes when the is off If it is flashing when the key is on I would think you don't have power in the correct position in the ignition.Check fuses and wiring.
Disconnect the battery, locate the idler bracket that adjust the tension on the belt. Loosen the bracket and unhook the belt off of the Idler bracket(no need to remove belt unless in the way) Remove water pump when car is cooled down. Loosen bolts that hold the water pump on and remove pump. Put new one on and reverse process. Replace your antifreeze/ water. Start car for thirty seconds. Stop car, look for leaks and top off antifreeze. Done deal.
In the rear of your explorer, remove the right rear factory speaker. Look up in the hole exposed. That is where your factory amplifier lives. Whether you are trying to test, bypass, replace, or tap into the factory amp for an upgrade, all the wires are above the factory speaker hole. If you are doing a complex integration, it is fairly simple to remove the plastic panel that covers the entire area. How To Bypass Factory Explorer amp
ok, sounds like you covered the basics with spark. I would check in this order; 1-Throttle position sensor, sometimes it wears out and you get poor signal back to computer, 2-clean MAF sensor, 3-check/clean IAT (intake air sensor). If this still doesn't help then I would check your fuel flow....but i'm thinking its your tps. Two screws will change that out quickly.
