I bought a 1991 ford crown victoria, no radio. so bought a kenwood excelon KDC X-595 to put in and matched all speakers wires.but car has a yellow hot and black ground but the kenwood has alot of oth

turn on the ignition. if the yellow gets power with the key on, and no power with the key off, it connects to the yellow on the radio. Yellow on the radio is for memory power, to remember your presets and clock. All aftermarket radios now are all the same when it comes to wiring colors. black is always common, or ground for all aftermarket radios.

Where is the pcv valve located on a 1991 ford crown victoria?

its located at the back of the engine near the firewall. it has a large hose connected to it(3/8") if I remember right. it is attached to top of the PCV valve. pull the hose off then you can pull the valve out of the rubber grommet that holds it into the engine.

How do I replace window motors?

did you have your switches checked 1st? they may be the fault which is a lot easier to repair than stripping your door down just to find out is was the switch; I did an electric window repair recently and found that the drive gear and track that runs on it just needed lubricating as they had become dry over the years as they do not get serviced. To remove the motor you will need to remove the interior door trim and plastic weather seal behind it to gain access to the inside of the door. some of the electric window mechanisms are pop riveted to the door panel which you will have to drill out the pop rivets and replace them with new ones when you are fitting it all back in the door. Some electric widows run on a cable setup which you will have to replace the whole setup as a unit.

Why does my heater blow cold air?

Usually 1 of 2 reasons. Some cars have a water control valve which makes hot water go through the heater core. The water valve is operated either by cable or Vacuum control.Feel the 2 water lines from the heater core when the engine is hot. They should both be hot with the heat turned on. If one is cooler than the other, it is a water control valve problem. If both lines are hot, then you have a problem inside the car and under the dash. The air flaps in the duct work are not changing the flow of air. You could have a slipped cable by the heater flap or a Vacuum pull-down is not working. Operate the heater control and see if the heater cable moves anything or not.

In drive if i mash on the gas my car

Is the service engine light on or did you check for any codes? Was your TPS adjustable and if so did you adjust it properly? How about the last time you did a tune up and replaced the fuel filter? Maybe an ignition wire is burned by the exhaust.
