move the catch assembly(mounted in trunk) up. bolts sometimes loosen up from use.
Brake light stays on
you may need brake fluid, or you might have the emergency brake light on. you might want to get that looked at. Diagnostic your car often.
Where is the computer located
The Computer is under the dash board behind the glove box, (First) before you do anything.... Disconect the (NEG) battery cable!!!! Then inside the car, You must remove the lower dash plastic shield held on by 10 screws and then 5 screws holding the base of the glove box. Let the glove box drop down out of the way. Look at the upper back foot wall for a SILVER METAL BOX with (3) big wire plugs. The plugs are (RED - WHITE & BLUE) that's the computer unit. It's mounted on a thick hard plastic back board. Use a Blade screw driver to push on the corners of the back board as you push up to release the snaps of the computer. Do this to both corner snaps. Once you have done that You can pull the computer down and out to the car floor. Now use masking tape, mark each plug wires to match RED/WHITE/BLUE PLUGS!Now squiz the ends of the plugs and pull hard to remove them. NOW your old computer is OUT... Buy a New / Rebuilt or USED compoter. IT'S BEST that you Match the (DELCO NUMBER on your old one!)**** DO NOT BUY ONE AT THE DEALER!!! THEY WILL KILL YOU BANK ACCOUNT!!!! BUY ONE AT JUNK YARD FOR UNDER $125... MAKE SURE IT IS A DELCO UNIT WITH THE SAME PART NUMBER AS YOUR OLD ONE! *** DO-NOT GIVE THE OLD UNIT TO THE JUNK YARD!!! ***ONCE You have the repacement unit, remove two screws from the top shield of the new one and your old one. Inside you will see a (BLUE) plug in chip. You need to SWAP them from your old one to the new one. Squiz and lift out and move your old one to the new computer.DO-NOT Put it back in the dash yet.... After you have swaped the BLUE chip put the 2 screws back and plug in the RED, WHITE & BLUE big plugs back on the new computer. Let it lay on the car floor for now. Now, go under the hood and RECONECT the NEG to the battery.Start your car and let it run checking for problems fixed!!! If all OK, take it for a short test drive... If all is well go home and put computer back and reasemble in reverce order. GOOD LUCK!!!

92 buick power locks stopped working
On my F250 when the windows went out I had to replace the drivers side switch to get both working again. I am putting my money on the switch is bad. Some of these control panels are all wired together in one so it would make sense that your seats went out as well if all controls are on the arm rest. This on the up side is not a difficult or that expensive to fix on your own.
The car runs great until it warms up then it dies
HelloThe engine
and automatic transmission in this vehicles drive train
are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM
(Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the
computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some
exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature
sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in
its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems
memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read
you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and
resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A
TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR
HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM
