It does not have a carburetor, its fuel injected. Chk, fuel pump pressure, fuel pump status, fuel filter, and make sure its not out of fuel. if all is ok, injectors for correct function.... noid lights or stethoscope. check cylinder balance for ignition.

How to remove multifuntion connectors from bulk head connector

If the connector fits inside the unit, on one side of the connector there is a tiny lever that has to be pushed toward the center of the connector, simultaneously pulling the connector out. If the connector is outboard of the unit (at least the depth of the connector itself) there is a lever on one side of the connector that has to be pulled outward slightly while pulling the connector. Being a '96 (been connected for many years), it could take some serious force to pull the connector away
