Miata mx5 95 pop up lights not go down

Have it checked out by a professional body shop. If they determine the problem is related to a covered accident, then they can typically get it approved by an insurance adjuster.

I have a '95 Miata M-Edition with 177,000 miles

Where was it stored? If corrosion is the issue, battery cables, wiring to alternator, alternator itself, battery terminals, fuse block, anything moisture got to sit on or near for more than a week or so. Miatas hate water in my experience.

1995 mazda miata no electrical power, nothing works

Most often the main 80 amp fuse is blown - happens when someone slips with a socket extension when trying to remove the battery terminals. Fuse is under the hood, passenger side and here's a diagram: http://www.mellens.net/mazda/Mazda-Miata-1997/fuses.pdf

I have an Mk1 Mx5

Lubricate all the rods and connections you have so there is not as much friction.

The headlights in a Mazda Miata are generally of two types. Some Miatas use the factory "flip up" style headlights, where a motor raises and lowers the headlight assembly out of the front bumper area. When this motor fails or when the headlights are not working properly, you'll need to replace the failed component. Replacement headlights are normally available from Mazda or from most auto parts stores if you need to replace the entire assembly. However, before you replace anything, you need to troubleshoot the problem. check for debris in the path and any loose or frayed wires.

Unfortunatly there is no adjustments, probably a weak motor.

If this was helpful a vote with the thumbs up would be appreciated for the advice.

thanks

My pop up lights are running slow and the hydrolic

Hi,
hydraulic fluid is normally a 10 weight oil. However, as manufacturers stipulate certain additives for their hydraulic oils your better off sticking to the original from Mazda.

Good luck.

Check oil,Very different readings when

When an engine is cold, the first 5 min,the oil is thicker and you get a higher pressure reading

There isn't, a which is correct

You could have a bad sending unit, and thus inaccurate readings or engine wear causing it to drop off.

If your asking about different dip stick readings, then you only check your oil in the morning when all drained down and cold. Everyone knows that!

At running temp it should be the same,if you wait until it drains down, say a half hour
