What if there's oil dripping from the oil cooler hose? There is oil dripping!

have to determine if the oil is coming from hose end or dripping from higher up like the valve cover or even from the oil pan. If you did some work in the area check there first. Otherwise check for bad or cracked hose or if it came loose from vibrations in the engine. I hope this helps solve the dripping.

4wd will not engage in 4HI, 4LO or Auto 4WD

most of the engine power is designed to go to, the back wheels UNLESS the transfer case is in LOCK position in 4 hi or 4 low..also was the front hubs locked in...some models still use lockouts in front..remember this also.. if most of the weight is up front as it is on pickups, the rear wheels are the least resistance for the power so they will move first unless thers enough weight on top of them say sandbags or firewood or just dead weight...(if the truck is used look under the vehicle to see if the front driveshaft was taken out..some folks do this for fuel economy purposes) good luck repost findings please...thnx

I have a 1999 gmc sierra 1500 my amp gauge is going from 16 to 9 then I start loosing all power to my interior and no head lights or anything engine still runs fine can happen for a few miles then eve

You may need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams and test procedures. The alternator output should be around 14 volts unless you have a heavy load such as headlights or the heater blower on high.If voltage goes above 14 the regulator could be faulty even tho you say the alternator checked out ok on a bench test. The regulator gets a power signal from the gauge on the dash to energize it. There could be a loose connection somewhere in the charging system, or something in the instrument cluster. Even the key switch could be a factor.

Replaced heater blower motor and resistor still not blowing heat

had this problem which took a couple different directions. First was very simple...the control knob was turning on the shaft,, it had rounded off. Put some glue on it and worked for a year until problem like you described arose again. Replaced all components like you did but had intermittent blowing. Replaced blower again which solved problem...for now anyway...defective NEW blower.
